Presidents have always been able to renovate the white house as they see fit, to the point that Truman did a full 3 year reconstruction to stop the place falling to bits. The question isn't of allowed to or not, the question as with every bloody politician is where the moneys coming from for this and what those donors are getting in exchange.

went to a podcast recording for mom can't cook (two video games journalists dunking on straight to TV/DVD movies) the other night. Covering Money Plane and it honestly might be the stupidest film I've ever watched. like the lowest budget heist film it is possible to make.

to be blunt, I think you expect more intellectual honesty than would be forthcoming here. The record doesn't matter so much as the perception, and besides that politics becomes a team sport for far too many, where whether a policy is good or bad is determined by whether it's the blue or red team introducing it. It's most obviously the case in America, but our political system is becoming an embarrassing facsimile of theirs. So, even if the tories presided over mass immigration from asia and the Middle East, for right wingers that's either good because [insert flimsy justification here] or they're a victim of labours open door policy that the poor tories with their 14 years in power just couldn't undo.

slurs aside that's about how everyone forced to watch Ayew feels as well.

Conor Coady sold to Wrexham - official

does he think foxestalk is doing player recruitment? like **** me, we'd be the world's most prolific child trafficking organisation if @Ric Flair controlled player recruitment -

great deal for Wrexham, his podcasting experience will be invaluable for the next season of welcome to wrexham -
eh, half the country gets it's news from the circus and then complains that a clown gave it to them, so that's reasonable in comparison
-
is it actually that amazing? like TV news is mostly a dead medium when the internet exists and is readily accessible to the vast majority in their pockets. Those who still watch TV news want the talking heads crap, which leads directly towards fox news and it's Poundland equivalent

I mean, I might not be the best judge here as I blame Thatcher for Blair and Starmer as they exist to kill labour as a left of centre project and embed Thatcherism through controlled opposition, but blame for Blair is pretty understandable? The right blame him for multiculturalism and hate him as a result, the left hate him because he's a warmongerer (plus the possibly apocryphal quotes of him being described as her greatest achievement by Thatcher), and he stays in the public eye because he tries for a rare intervention about once every 8 weeks

13% of greens being spot on. Like the problem with mass privatisation is you eventually run out of stuff to privatise, and then you're left with a nothing country governed by and for opinion columnists
-
see, the issue there is that the UK would very quickly find itself getting the same treatment, because Britain has firmly established itself as basically the 51st state.

I'd make a joke about the toilet cops being round soon to verify but it's frankly just depressing reality at this point.

Setting aside the stuff on banning porn because it is, as Finnegan said, Mary Whitehouse nonsense (and also wildly unworkable/open to abuse as we're seeing with the itch/steam stuff coming out as a result of Collective Shout in Aus trying to force payment processors to effectively sensor stuff by not allowing payments, leading to not just porn games being blocked but also e.g. writings by victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse), extreme porn is a massive problem which is made worse by this sort of law, not better. Like previously what were teenagers gonna do, end up on pornhub, lie about their age and see whatever ends up on the front page there. Now, they're gonna end up bypassing it through things like TOR and just end up seeing stuff which is comparatively far more extreme. The entire set up is a data breach waiting to happen and is laughably easy to bypass (I've seen people getting verified on discord with death strandings photo mode), and doesn't really improve anything compared to the far less invasive and better solution of parents actually doing some parenting rather than giving their kids an iPad and leaving them to it.

hide and seek?

now now, this is foxestalk. "he's a reasonable striker at this level but there's too much happened here for him to really stay" isn't acceptable. You can only refer to him in reference to Stevie Wonder and call him the worst player to ever step on a football pitch
-
I mean a good chunk of the time it's a way to dodge around homegrown rules let's be honest

We've seen a third choice keeper play what, once, in the last 15 years. He had plenty of league experience and yet a youth teamer genuinely couldn't have done worse. Senior third choice goalkeeper is not a position in a squad that needs to exist
-
if hermansen is half out the door fine, otherwise a complete waste of wages and squad space. Your third keeper never plays, just make them a youth teamer

https://www.ft.com/content/a40177c5-4cfb-4a89-b06b-62d822b645c9 Corbyn and Sultanas party gonna be called the Your Party. genuinely a worse launch than the independent group for change or whatever they were called. That said, the Abbott and Costello opportunities in canvassing will be banging. "who are you voting for" "Your Party" "My party?" "No, Your party" etc.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official
The Doctor replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
even if he is "ok" at this level, so what. At that point he's just an obstacle to the development of Monga, Evans and Fatawu. Play the younger players with a point to prove, not over the hill dross like Reid. -
there's a few that it wouldn't surprise me, although I suspect they'll cry libel if you mention them.
-
a competent opposition party would be making absolute hay out of this given it is looking like a pretty blatant cover up. However, safe money is the Dems won't do anything.

he really hasn't. he's been distinctly mediocre, which is a problem when the direct comparison is our greatest ever player. he'll go, and his replacement will also be "crap" because he'll also be Vardys successor and that's a shadow you'd have to be world class to get out of

Worst performance you've seen live from a Leicester player
The Doctor replied to Jacob7839's topic in Leicester City Forum
oh he was absolutely woeful - got done about a year later for buying cocaine but honestly if you told me it was Ket, my only response would be that that explained his performances
