Yep. Their performances mostly been very good and should probably have more points than anybody. I'm probably being unfair on Stoke here who have already beaten Birmingham and Southampton, and have had a surprisingly good start.

Funnily enough it isn't even that for me, they can score lots of goals but the QPR game was a genuine freak where basically everything they touched went in. They created something like treble as many chances in yesterdays game and ended up only scoring the once. They were unlucky they didn't win yesterday by about 2/3 goals, it would've been a total freak if they'd lost the game. But like I say nobody hugely convinces me, they aren't perfect and they look like they'll give goals up. I'm not quite convinced Middlesbrough, Stoke or Bristol City keep up what they're doing but the lack of anything from most of the expected favourites is opening the door somewhat. Find us quite hard to judge. If we'd been playing our best team in these first few games, on our performances and level of opposition I'd put us as very unlikely to go up, but I don't think we've been anywhere near as strong as we're capable of yet so I'm giving a bit of a benefit of the doubt here. We absolutely have to improve though, we won't keep getting away with playing like this even in this league.

I thought it was very obvious in 2023/24 we'd go up even this early in. Can't say that for anybody this time. Worryingly I think Coventry have been arguably the best.

Likewise but I do find the Winks situation a bit odd - he's in this half way house sort of situation where he'll not start him seemingly (surely) on principle but he will bring him on. At this point I think we've got to bite the bullet and play him if he's stopped playing up. Could understand not starting James yesterday but no excuse from next week. That midfield has to make a difference. Can't bare Skipp/Soumare any longer.

He's the best at making in game changes we've had in a while but he's got to make a radical change to this XI. I'd be looking at minimum 4 changes against Cov. Extremely worrying for me if we see Skipp/Soumare ever again.

I can only assume it's to do with the lack of other options most of them have had rather than because he's any good. The own goal was unlucky really, but as a general rule this Skipp Soumare midfield. I really think you would be hard pushed to find a worse midfield pound for pound in the world.

Really do wonder if this is a chance for someone like a Bristol City tbh. Not a single team in the division looks convincing. Not one.

These first halves are becoming a joke. Every single one of them we've been complete and utter tripe. Baffling that in the second even with ten men that we were far better than in the first. A strange game, hard one to judge with an early red. I thought we did quite well in tricky circumstances in the second half but clearly a Gary Rowett Oxford side aren't set up to play on the front foot against somebody like us. 10 points from 5 games is a decent start but it's a huge fluke we're on that many points. We're going to be punished if we keep playing like this - bear in mind we've played four of the expected strugglers as well.

Absolutely dreading this. If both teams continue to perform how we have done then this will end up being a very ugly defeat. I really hope they shit themselves and implode like they usually do.

I know Ipswich's side has a fair bit of new blood but looks really ordinary to me, I definitely don't think they're a lock to click and get automatics based on that XI. They used up a fair bit of credit last season - they remarkably managed to finish below us.

I've got a soft spot for Malaysia due to starting there on the pentagon but you are right - it's absolutely horrendous, like literal sixth tier in England level if even that. I've never actually downloaded any leagues before because I'm sure I read somewhere it makes it a slightly iffy version of the game but I might be worrying for nothing. I can't believe people just stick in England, there's a world out there on this bloody game.

Just doublechecked it, Tunisia is actually ranked 2nd in Africa behind Egypt which is really impressive for their size. I wouldn't mind Iran on it either. If Lithuania can get on there virtually anyone in Europe should be fair game. I know Gibraltar are on it but I think Lincoln Red Imps would probably beat anyone in Lithuania. Give me Kazakhstan.

What do people actually want updating? My main things are: - Improved AI with transfers. It's too easy for me to outthink the game. I'm in Holland currently and PSV are selling off their team of wonderkids and this summer just signed Kasey McAteer (who in fairness isn't terrible on this). As a general rule though the recruitment of 'better' teams is terrible. - 'Greyed out' teams not being a cakewalk in Europe. It's a bit of a joke when I can play someone such as Malmo, with a team who are on paper probably worse than them but absolutely destroy them because they're 'greyed out'. They shouldn't be this bad. There are definitely more but these spring to mind.

I did the pentagon a while ago and it's a shame you were limited to just South Africa. Was sad enough recently to check which the strongest ranked leagues that weren't within the game and I think Morocco, Egypt and Algeria might've been the best three, the former two definitely. Best one in missing in UEFA is Cyprus.
