  1. On the whole I do like him but as ever, the right offer and I would sell.
  2. Should've known this Austria friendly would be a load of nothing. So so far there's only one game where over about 300 people can attend and it's £20 a ticket.
  3. I've always sort of liked the idea of being able to play other confederations in competitive games but I don't really see how you can really achieve it in a way that suits everyone.
  4. Yep - literally all of this. He's ticks virtually every box for what I think they would go for. I'd have been quite open to Carrick a couple of years ago but too many red flags for me - hint of the Martin without being as irritating or as extreme.
  5. Carrick just feels inevitable to me.
  6. Thought this myself. The Maresca Man City stuff conveniently came after they'd just won the treble. I'd imagine in the summer it'll be "Sean Dyche promised me he'd have us playing like PSG"
  7. Definitely a self-fulfilling prophecy about this. Entire rhetoric around these two games was that we shouldn't be playing them. This sort of thing rubs off I'd imagine. Two genuinely pitiful results followed - no huge surprise really.
  8. Embarrassing from England. We seem to lose far more home games than we used to. Senegal are a good and fun team to watch. Thought they fully deserved the win.
  9. Agree 100%. I strangely think the level of performance in 2022 was probably the highest Southgate delivered despite it being the earliest we went out, and 2024 was the opposite - the furthest we went but the worst performance. He had insane fortune with draws.
  10. It's very England. It's often an allowance made to players who haven't really delivered when it's been most needed either. Kane's been a flat-track bully for England.
  11. England have been rubbish since Qatar to be honest. Hard to not ignore the red flags under Tuchel so far. Three and a half poor performances.
  12. Feels a bit of a trap to me. You're paying peak fee and wages. It's probably the right time for Oxford to sell put it that way.
  13. £20 life under Aiyawatt man. The worst.
  14. Wrexham may have taken their eye off the ball a bit if that is legit. I have been assuming there's a pretty smart operation going on behind the facade. This would be a major red flag - would be enough of an error to put them in relegation contention. Remember they have done this before with Ben Foster.
  15. Faes is not a centre back.
  16. That's genuine good news. I've been unable to get that excited about him because I'm convinced it was just Nyoni all over again. At least we should get some good money for him now when he goes.
  17. People are wedded to the idea of him rather than the reality. It's why the very occasional glimpse of quality is treated as some sort of uptick. He's a bad player. I can forgive signing him. I saw some logic at the time. I can't forgive him still being here - and as I said months ago, his ascent into our team was less that and more our teams descent.
  18. You're just not enlightened enough to see how brilliant he is!
  19. Inevitable that these are the next 'big' relegation in Europe. Wouldn't be surprised if it was this coming season.
  20. No idea where this myth he was good at Sevilla comes from. Looks a very similar output to most of his seasons - a fair few yellow cards, zero productivity going forward, part of a generally poor and declining team. Exactly what we got here. How some people fell for him again I will never know. He's absolutely rubbish.
  21. There's a real tendency in football fans to just think for a silver bullet all of the time and that there is only one issue at a time. Charlatans like Aiyawatt and Rudkin will hide behind this exact thing as it's a convenient cover up for their own incompetence. I do generally agree with the point though - PSR is a scandal and part of the super league by stealth method that has been implemented.
  22. Having started pretty slowly - you could argue that was probably the difference.
  23. I'll believe it when I see it with the PSR delay and it being about supposedly saving money. If I see a genuine change of strategy (or having one at all would be a nice start) then maybe I'll believe it. I've no idea how this lot still get the benefit of the doubt on here from people.
  24. They've both, Rudkin in-particular, done a very good job of protecting their own positions. Tells me it can't really be performance based.
