This is probably true thinking about it - quite a few games have gone to general sale this season. Palace and even Fulham, a Saturday 3pm home game went to general sale. Crowds in this country are as high as they've been but we're definitely bucking the trend and I do expect should we drop for our average to be below what it was in 2024. Ridiculous prices and a pretty bad experience these days. This ownership are a bust. Oh and I'm very much a 'legacy fan' that they've fvcked off. I'm not quite at your level but I probably ought to be, to be honest.

How would you feel if Forest won the league and could it happen?

I feel like Leicester deal in such extremes that if we're to go down, such a shocker like this is going to be thrown in just to make it as excruciating as possible. I can't see it in all seriousness, I don't think they can keep this form up. It's probably the run that most resembles ours even if it's not quite on the level. I had them to go down in preseason and it wasn't unfounded. It's mental that they've gone from under a point a game over two years to this. It's a shame it's them. I do quite like Nuno and I do quite like the way they play as well - very simple. An era where complicating everything seems to be king and they've come in with defenders who can defend, aggressive midfielders, quick wingers and a striker who scores goals. Just very simple stuff and I think there's a lot to be said for it. But I do expect them to dip. -

I do find it hard to get enthusiastic when we keep losing games and I do think a couple of the performances have been seen very much through rose tinted glasses. I think the last two games for example were quite good opportunities, caught both of them at very decent times and we ended losing both, without disgracing ourselves in the performances. But I do think he's been dealt a terrible hand. I do think he's been unlucky. It was Cooper who promoted Ward back to second choice and I can see how he fell into the trap of playing him at Newcastle. I can't forgive Wolves, terrible judgement and real lack of attention to detail. It's also the single worst fixture of the 38 that it could've happened in. I feel like every corner he's tried to cut has been penalised whereas Cooper it never quite happened for. Cooper had a lot of luck. Van Nistelrooy's had very little, bar the opening game. What on earth is going on regarding his staff by the way? I can't escape this idea that this era is just never going to quite get going and that with slightly different timing it would work differently. He got a crap hand of fixtures, a crap hand with injuries and now is about to get the Rudkin special transfer window of which I'm almost certain his expectations won't be met. I'd say it's quite likely he regrets this already. -
The flip side is Spurs themselves are notoriously tough to negotiate with and I don't see them getting bent over a barrel on a frequent basis like we are. Get your point but in reality Rudkin's just blagged it for years. We built up a fantastic position very quickly, largely the work of Pearson and Walsh, given a second wind by Puel and Macia (debatable on Puel really) and we've been running off the coattails of that for years. No surprise that once our elite striker has slowed down, the cracks have really started to show. I'm glad I no longer have to stress how bad Rudkin is on here anymore though - it's largely accepted he's completely useless. Now it's about getting people onto the one who continues to employ him. Literally anything is preferable to this. I'd happily take relegation if it guaranteed heads rolled.

It sums up how far misplaced the overton window was. I was saying a lot of the regular stuff on here now 2-3 years ago and was getting slaughtered for it - and I don't consider myself some expert or authority on things. I just simply never liked the way the fanbase worshipped this ownership and what's played out in the last couple of years is basically why. The circumstances were there for this to happen. Our only way out is a sale and the sooner the better. I'll take my chances.
-
Their fans don't worship their problems. Ours do. I wish our ground was like on here. Not permanently of course but while we were in this sort of situation. I wish it got toxic enough for drastic things to happen. But it just won't. Not got it in us anyway anymore, and the fans for the most part I don't even think realise how big a problem Top actually is. I could be wrong, but I don't sense it.
-
Too much focus on Rudkin now. Everyone's right to bash him, obviously, he's the most inept DoF relative to his club I think quite likely in the world game. But he's kept in place - why?
-
Time's up Aiyawatt. Get out you shite.
-
It's just the most spectacularly badly run club in the league. Doesn't even really annoy me anymore. It's laughable at this point.
-
Yep. Think that and our showing at Fulham encapsulate the situation.
-
Two ex Leicester defenders helping Ipswich. Got to laugh - just every single thing that can go wrong does in the funniest way. Just got to try and see the funny side of this. It's genuinely laughable.
-
Have we ever had a worse three weeks?
-
35 I think will about do it - so 7 wins, 6 wins and 3 draws, 5 wins and 6 draws etc...
-
It's been done in a typically English way - boxticky, half arsed and almost sabotaged. Precisely none of the benefits it was meant to bring have been achieved. I've no real enthusiasm for it anymore.
-
I just don't get how. They got him for less than he was worth anyway so why we'd need to reimburse them I've no idea. Then again you'd not put it past us.
-
We've struck almost the worst balance - put a fair bit of money into ageing players but not even ones that'll be enough to keep us up. I could almost tolerate this if we'd gone for getting our house in order and getting a younger squad together. But we didn't.
-
This is the long and short of it. We'll rarely be hammered but we'll just always be bad enough to lose. Five losses in a row is terrible - I can't believe people are shrugging their shoulders at it.
-
I'll forgive 4, but like the thinking. I think any less and we're toast. One settler for us is that you just know we'll lose at Spurs - think us and Southampton are the only two sides in the league you can nearly certainly say that of. And that tells you something.
-
It really is just draining at this point. It's not a club that is doing the best to be the best it can be. How can anybody get enthusiastic about things in this scenario?
-
A game that encapsulates our season. A not disgraceful loss, but ultimately still a loss, to a side who are pretty out of form themselves and had players missing. So there'll be enough to dress it up as an 'OK' outcome but in reality it's just standard fare of a team getting relegated, which we probably are.

I'm not RVN out but it's hard to really make a case for this - it's been a crap start. If this is the honeymoon period then god help us. I do think he's working with hands tied behind his back by the most inept board in the Premier League - another game today blown on the same useless defence we've had to tolerate all season because of more board inaction. But he isn't helping himself. I think without a decent return from Palace and Fulham the consensus will turn quite heavily against him. A midtable and a bottom half side, both at home. If we can't pick up a minimum of 4 points from those I think we're gone - and I don't think we'll do it either. -
It's honestly so bad with him now that I think you have to just put Choudhury there. He can do no worse. His drop off is just mental. He's absolute rubbish now.
-
I'm intrigued by who pushed for this signing.
-
I'm a bit unsure about Okoli. I'm nowhere near convinced, but I do actually think of the four we currently have I'd probably start him which isn't really saying much for the others. I really hope this is a permanent transfer if so and we get some money back. Cannot be arsed with another Praet situation where we're just losing money and people pretend it's some sort of good deal.
