Never expected it to be anyone decent - this is someone who is ultimately going to be answerable to Aiyawatt & Rudkin. Nobody of any stature or track record is going to put themselves through that - they don't need to. Southampton again (!), similar sort of CV to what Rudkin had before he was overly promoted. Sounds like everything I expected. Not to mention the obvious Russell Martin link. It's basically everything I expected.

I still think even those blaming the weather and whatnot are self-owning a bit. You're not telling me they wouldn't have made the effort if we were playing Manchester United. That in itself is sort of a boycott anyway.
-
The only stat that surprised me were that two sides have somehow made less sprints than us. Who on earth are these teams? What on earth are they doing? How this side is in the top half just absolutely beggars belief.
-
Correct. Which is why further decline is inevitable. If we're losing those two and still cheaping out on recruitment (which is basically guaranteed) then we'll be relegated next year.
-
What's been so infuriating about the decline under Aiyawatt is our tendency, which has gone on for years, to be able to paper over the cracks. Happened for so long of the 2021/22 season when Rodgers was performing terribly, but seemed to keep spawning enough wins to create this illusion that we were doing 'OK' before the inevitable crash the following season. In that season itself, Rodgers often seemed to get a result to create the illusion we would survive before it did enough to nail us to relegation. It was happening under Cooper - terrible in virtually every game. Under Cifuentes, it might just be even worse. On a single game basis that game tonight might be the most extraordinary example yet. I cannot remember a team ever playing so badly and winning as much as that game. It was an absolute disgrace of a performance. Individual quality of James and Fatawu is the reason we're not in the bottom three. It really is as simple as that. When that's gone next year. Oh boy.

I actually can't believe they've had the gall to announce that was 27k. I thought they'd go somewhere in the middle and go for about 22k but no, they really are that brazen in their lying. I've already seen fans of ours using that attendance figure as a pushback against the boycott as well. Tells you everything you need to know about them to be honest. -
He's actually spawnier than Cooper and I didn't think it was possible.
-
We'll always get whatever is the most damaging long term result. So that was inevitable.

****ing superb effort.

This is funny bad

Played another season and had basically a repeat. Ended up grabbing 4th on the final day, this time ahead of AEK rather than Panathinaikos. Had a much worse points tally though and only managed 3 draws and 3 losses from the Championship group. PAOK absolutely blitzed the league this time, and then won the cup meaning once again we go into the Europa League qualifiers and will face Legia Warsaw. We went out of the Greek cup in the quarters again. A proper repeat season. But this was all fine because the Nanders sale and a decent run in the Europa League has left us with a £6.5mil budget for next season, so we're actually playing properly now. We picked up 5 wins in the Europa League league phase - beating Fenerbahce, Nice and Union Saint-Gilloise as real highlights. We finished 11th, beat Hajduk Split 3-1 on aggregate but then went out 4-0 on aggregate to David Moyes' Tottenham (). We started badly, finished badly but had another very good run midseason. I've bought an Armenian winger to replace Sanders and upgraded parts of my team so will be intrigued how high up I finish this year. Should in theory be stronger, but I feel like despite coming 4th we were miles off the top teams this time. AEK were definitely going to haul us in if there were even 1 or 2 more games. I think the game probably underestimated us in the first season now takes us a bit more seriously. Highlight result was winning 0-5 at Panathinaikos - absolutely ridiculous freak of a score.
-
Actually do think it's finally Arsenal's time but I'm rubbish at calling PL winners, I often go against Man City and often get proven wrong in doing so. Something missing with Man City. Obvious to say now but just not quite the same without a fit and firing De Bruyne and a lot of their players aren't quite what they were.
-
Theirs is one of the only ones in League Two on today mind.
-
They probably mixed them up with Colchester. Who are also in League Two.
-
It's also a load of absolute bollocks. You have to be probably what, in your mid twenties? To have seen us at our literal lowest ever point. Lots of my formative years watching us we're in the bottom third of the Championship getting beaten 1-0 by Preston and Burnley every year. And I'm telling people this is going to be a lot worse.
-
I do think this is probably it, but it still doesn't make it any less weird, or frankly mental of those who back it to me. I didn't realise the ones who made that silly "we've completed football we can **** it all off now" in 2016 were taking it this literally.

Saw a video of West Ham's end today at Wolves. Was as feral as you would imagine - an absolute barrage for their team bar one man who was clapping (and to be honest, I am assuming he was probably a relative of a player). We serve up something even more egregious on Thursday (and at QPR, and many more) and you've got old boys attacking people for calling it out while a sizeable number will stay there to clap it off. There is absolutely no way they are doing that because they're happy with the 'effort' they have just paid good money to have inflicted on them. They are doing it to spite 'the boo boys'. It's why it wouldn't actually surprise me if on Monday some of them did actually try and vocally support the team for the first time in about four decades. It will be nothing to do with love for this joke of a team, but more spite for those can see what it is. I just cannot believe this sort of activity takes place this frequently at any other club.
-
Our fanbase absolutely fascinates me. I did think a lot of those backing this disaster of a regime were a loud minority on Facebook (similar to what you could accuse this site of being to be fair but for the opposite) while the vast majority are pretty passive and sit in the middle, but seeing the old boys backing Aiywatt and the regime is so perplexing. It seems a really unique situation. I cannot believe that for example the equivalents at West Ham, Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves, Blackburn etc... are behind their equivalents. We've got the most bizarre fanbase in England. Confirmation bias maybe because I'm far more invested in this one than any other but I look around a bit, and I really cannot believe there's a situation quite like this. A genuine one-off. And one that is ultimately very damaging. What on earth do you do when there's a decline so utterly inarguable yet so many have taken a stance where they're actually backing the decline against those calling it out?
-
Forest's luck is just beyond belief. No matter how bad they are there's always three more disgusting teams.
-
Glover should go, but accountability is banned at this club so he'll probably be our new technical director.
-
It struck me somewhat in the Forest home game last season. Got absolutely ripped to shreds by I think Hudson-Odoi. Just looked totally off the pace. Thought on quality alone he'd get by at this level but I don't even think that's true anymore. Definitely time to move him on.
-
I've hammered Mavididi and to a lesser extent Fatawu lately but bloody hell they get nothing from their full backs at all. It's an awful side to play in as a winger. **** all support from the full backs. **** all to aim for in the box.

Ricardo is completely done isn't he. My word.
