I think that Newcastle fan made the point quite nicely a few weeks ago on here that you're just never going to get everybody on side. There is quite literally nothing he can do wrong with these people. We're just going to have to go without them and so be it. They're not really a big miss if this is what they're offering. They're fascinating to me nontheless - I don't come across anybody really like this anymore either. I'm finding more and more casual times, less invested than people on here are definitely turning even if they're not hugely passionate about it. There've been people I know of suggesting he needs to sell up that I feared would've been blinded in the way this lot are - so there is some hope yet at least.

I consider him better in the way I consider Lithuania to be better than Gibraltar. He's absolutely not what I want here, it is a miserable experience. But I just do not see how his track record is as bad as Aiyawatt's. I'd agree with your take if it was about Chansiri, although even he didn't quite have the luxury of inheriting what Aiyawatt did here. The decline he's overseen here just shouldn't be possible. It's way beyond incompetence, it's negligence at this point.

Thomas will end up playing because he won't play Ricardo twice in a week. Unless he plays both Choudhury and Aluko. Aluko hasn't started a league game that wasn't forced by suspension either.

I suppose if you factor in the odd good half it's probably about 90%. In terms of a full 90, it's no exaggeration - 100% of games this has not been achieved all season. It's preposterous. I saw the Blackwell second half stat. It's no surprise and while I think the second halves are a problem, I tend to find that if we haven't had a shit second half it's because we had a shit first The performance levels really have been unacceptably bad. Fotmobs xg table has us bloody 21st. That's absolutely ridiculous but it sort of reflects the eye test.

Even earlier for me. Thought the opening game was a massive red flag and as expected, plenty of teams in this league have hammered them without having the advantage of playing them off the back of no pre-season friendlies. Preston was an absolute shambles. Charlton was the same but bailed out by quality. He's served up complete dog shit from day one and always seems to get a result when he needs it to survive. It's a hard job. It's a rank set of circumstances. But he's absolutely rubbish. Totally out of his depth and if he manages a bigger club than us in his career I'll piss myself.

Absolutely hopelessly out of his depth but I don't think the thought of sacking him would've even crossed their minds at this point. They probably genuinely think we'll still go up this season as well. Will lose at Wrexham. Will probably take 4 points from Oxford and Charlton, two nothingy, forgettable performances where James or Fatawu bailed us out of the latest rabble. In 5 years if there was a tenable on the last 10 Leicester managers I think he'd be quite likely be the one forgotten. Absolutely nothing about him whatsoever.

Watched Edinburgh City play Spartans the other week in the 4th tier of Scotland and it actually got brought up.. "would Luke Thomas stand out here" and I'm really not convinced he would. That's how ridiculous it is. I don't think he would look bad at that level, but I don't think he would be eye-catching either. It sounds ridiculous to explain this to anybody who hasn't watched him but I really think it might be true. That contract. I thought it was daft at the time but good gracious me. The problem is as well is that we've proven time and time again under this regime that we won't move these players on. I fully expect he'll be featuring for us in some form in 18 months time. It's this tolerance of this sort of thing that has been the fundamental issue that has caused our decline. It's why average Championship sides are now passing us too. Where does it stop? I'm deadly serious - Peterborough United, Northampton Town, do not give Luke Thomas a four year contract. This is the level of player we're investing in? There's nothing honourable about continuing to pick somebody so out of their depth either. It just breeds resentment. He can't be enjoying this. The fans aren't enjoying it. When he had those poor loan spells at Sheffield United and Middlesbrough that should have been the end for him here. Moved on to a lower league club. But of course not. This is Aiyawatt's Leicester. That would require a bit of work. A bit of not winging it. Why go out of your way when you can cut a corner and hope for the best. He's not quite cost us a place in a league against all the odds (yet) so he remains behind Danny Ward for me but bloody hell he's getting there.

Bit of adversity and physicality? I was more sure we'd lose this than Coventry and haven't changed.

Called it for weeks. So utterly predictable. They're wobbling and were no good today, but we do just enough to give them the jolt of life their season was crying out for. No doubt we'll stink it up when we play Ipswich and Middlesbrough but spawn a goal to give Cov another helping hand they need. This team is just useless, a reflection of owner.
