Yeah exactly. It was never personal with Cifuentes. What he's done today, bar the second half which I can sort of overlook in the midst of the rest, is a good sign. I'd be OK with him staying if he kept that up. It was never that complicated.

One guarantee in life it seems is we'll beat Derby. Doesn't matter how good they are, how bad we are, we just win against them. It's probably the root of why they just don't bother me much in rivalry terms. I just find them funny if anything. First half was excellent - best half of the season. Even the biggest moaner (I'm up there) could have no complaints. Second half just felt like self enforced hard work though. They were so bad and we gave them a chance that they should never have had. A win and a couple of the twat squad bombed out though is a start.

You do wonder. Would be absolutely typical of us though - preserve the 'value' of our ageing players (which is diminishing by its very nature) while actually putting a lid on the value of our younger players who could end up worth far more than these jokers. Would be very on brand for us actually.

I've had the nearest iteration to this possible in the last year and a bit and haven't 'adopted' another club at all - I'd just do similar to what I do now without the actual following Leicester part which is a mix of games here and abroad. I'd probably take the trips a bit more seriously.
