  1. These first halves are becoming a joke. Every single one of them we've been complete and utter tripe. Baffling that in the second even with ten men that we were far better than in the first. A strange game, hard one to judge with an early red. I thought we did quite well in tricky circumstances in the second half but clearly a Gary Rowett Oxford side aren't set up to play on the front foot against somebody like us. 10 points from 5 games is a decent start but it's a huge fluke we're on that many points. We're going to be punished if we keep playing like this - bear in mind we've played four of the expected strugglers as well.
  2. Absolutely dreading this. If both teams continue to perform how we have done then this will end up being a very ugly defeat. I really hope they shit themselves and implode like they usually do.
  3. Bottom half performances generally catch up with you.
  4. They're having a laugh aren't they Sheff Utd.
  5. They parted with Christopher John Wilder for this. Good grief.
  6. this is unbelievable. Proper Sousa at Leicester vibes.
  7. Defending is horrendous. Both goals have been so easy despite good finishes.
  8. I know Ipswich's side has a fair bit of new blood but looks really ordinary to me, I definitely don't think they're a lock to click and get automatics based on that XI. They used up a fair bit of credit last season - they remarkably managed to finish below us.
  9. The game involving our two best sales since Maguire. One of them is bound to score now I've said this but crikey we did well on both of those.
  10. I've got a soft spot for Malaysia due to starting there on the pentagon but you are right - it's absolutely horrendous, like literal sixth tier in England level if even that. I've never actually downloaded any leagues before because I'm sure I read somewhere it makes it a slightly iffy version of the game but I might be worrying for nothing. I can't believe people just stick in England, there's a world out there on this bloody game.
  11. Just doublechecked it, Tunisia is actually ranked 2nd in Africa behind Egypt which is really impressive for their size. I wouldn't mind Iran on it either. If Lithuania can get on there virtually anyone in Europe should be fair game. I know Gibraltar are on it but I think Lincoln Red Imps would probably beat anyone in Lithuania. Give me Kazakhstan.
  12. What do people actually want updating? My main things are: - Improved AI with transfers. It's too easy for me to outthink the game. I'm in Holland currently and PSV are selling off their team of wonderkids and this summer just signed Kasey McAteer (who in fairness isn't terrible on this). As a general rule though the recruitment of 'better' teams is terrible. - 'Greyed out' teams not being a cakewalk in Europe. It's a bit of a joke when I can play someone such as Malmo, with a team who are on paper probably worse than them but absolutely destroy them because they're 'greyed out'. They shouldn't be this bad. There are definitely more but these spring to mind.
  13. I did the pentagon a while ago and it's a shame you were limited to just South Africa. Was sad enough recently to check which the strongest ranked leagues that weren't within the game and I think Morocco, Egypt and Algeria might've been the best three, the former two definitely. Best one in missing in UEFA is Cyprus.
  14. It's why I supported the Tuchel appointment (and crucially have not fallen into Southgate revisionism - as if he didn't serve up some rubbish himself). He's flawed but he's got this way of getting a team to go on a run when you need it most. Always remember how he took over a Chelsea side in a bit of a mess and had them as the best side in Europe for a few months in time to win the Champions League. There's method in his madness. Before tonight we have been crap and I do think there's a chance we stumble against someone crap in the World Cup but that was a huge green flag for me tonight.
  15. Somebody on here a few pages ago said something along the lines of how we're building to look pretty unconvincing against the crap sides but ruthless against the better. Obviously Serbia are nowhere near a top side but we took them apart with total ease tonight. That being said Serbia didn't set up at all like a decent side. 5-4-1 at home reminiscent of a minnow. Serbia were pathetic tonight.
  16. Tuchel's sides have a very high ceiling. Was often the way with Chelsea where he'd set up with something fairly bizarre on paper and they would just tear you apart over and over again. Can remember one time where Chilwell was basically playing as a striker he was that far forward.
  17. This has been barely believably easy. It's like we're playing Malta.
  18. That's a very good half. Been easy.
  19. Haha that has potential to be a disaster appointment.
  20. The club need to give the fans freedom rather than trying to manage it all themselves. I was thinking about this the other day though, I do remember specifically during the great escape every time we conceded there'd be an encouragement cheer from our crowd and that's just completely alien now - something's not been right in this way for ages.
  21. 3 goals in 2 games against Andorra abysmal.
  22. Agree it's open but can't help but think we've blown our best opportunities. We've had some very favourable draw luck and not converted it. Don't think next year really suits us either condition wise. Do feel like we could win 2028 mind you.
