Anyway, no point in playing Vestergaard if we can't take a decent corner.

monga didn't take a corner.........
Who took the one that sailed over everyone and out for a throw-in in stoppage time?

I just love seeing a centreback going up front, probably could’ve scored as well
Think he’ll make a huge difference if he’s fit for the next game
No point playing Vestergaard if we have Jeremy Monga taking corners.

Don't blame me, I no longer subscribe to Sky.

Ultimately it's likely to be the 6 point EFL deduction that relegates us.

Clear signs we are improving?
Improvement in recent weeks?Norwich and Q.P.R at home are two of the most vile performances I’ve ever watched (and they’ve had plenty of competition)
Both under Rowett
I had the misfortune to be present at both of those games which have proved to be the final nails in my season ticket coffin.

I find it odd that people wouldn't want the irish and welsh at the finals. All 3 sets of fans are top notch and a great laugh. They'd have been there in huge numbers. The WC is worse off without them.
Very bad news for the UK hostelries. They really needed all of the home nations to qualify during these tough times.

We got rid of Soumare to allegedly help finances then Joe Aribo on who is Southamptons highest paid player. Time and Time again we do not learn
Don't know the details, obviously, but I wouldn't expect that we're paying anything more than a small portion of his wages. Likewise, we'll still be paying most of Soumare's. Probably.

A little bird told me.. usually pretty good for inside info, but of course, must be taken with a pinch of salt until we see the published accounts.
However, if true, my goodness!!

Where to start?
I don't use X, but I'm aware that your source is a far-right account pushed hard by Musk, and is reputedly run by a notorious Indian crypto-scammer, rather than a claimed "British Patriot"
I'm sad that such content reaches you, whether self-selecting, by algorithm, or by blind luck. I choose to avoid this. You've chosen differently
I'm sad that you took pleasure in sharing this on a public forum [complete with snarky (typical) dig at EU]. Immigration is a difficult subject; silly reductive views help nobody
I'm sad that your little episode shows so much about what is wrong with our world... but not in the way *you* think
Sharing this as you requested an explanation.
So nothing to do with content? You clearly know more about the account eventhough you're not an X user. I've explained that I was interested in the content which isn't false. It's being reported everywhere today on main stream sites so not an off-the-wall subject. As you know, it really isn't possible to control what reaches your screen, especially on X. It was trending in the top 30, I don't follow any political accounts, not that I need to explain that. So your sadness is from me sharing it from the wrong site? Fair enough, I can't help you with that.

Well, for starters, the motivation of the poster, and also the meaning of the phrase "Is the EU finally waking up?". Sorry if that wasn't clear.
The tone of the content of the post appears reasonably obvious, to be honest, but I'm interested in hearing other takes on it.
The motivation of the Twitter X poster? How do I know? I've already explained my motivation for sharing it here as a topic of interest eventhough it might not have been the best source. Google it now and there wouldn't be any need to use X. It's no secret that migation to the EU has been a hot discussion for years and this change of political stance has woken up what many have claimed to be sleeping on the job. Not sure what else you're looking for.

I'm sorry, but this continues to be rather obtuse by mentioning the facts about the action itself but discussing nothing regarding the motivation behind it and the motivations of the source posting it.
Who's motivation? The MEP's? My motivation for the post was to highlight what I view as a very significant political change towards European migration policy that may have an impact on the UK. Perhaps not seen worthwhile to some. Fine.
I have to say that I was perplexed by the response by @Clogger_ last night. No confirmation as to why my post made him sad, possibly the content? but more likely the Twitter X source. Might be a wrong 'un, I don't know, but equally it could have been another source that was trending in the top 30. However, the content wasn't inaccurate and the suggestion of what else I might be looking at was offensive to me. Not impressed.

Looking at the positives, he won't be showcased on the big World Cup stage this summer which might give us an outside chance of signing him on a longer term contract if we do retain Championship status.
-
Bellamy made some comment pre-match about the World Cup needing Wales to qualify. I may be wrong but I would say they need 4 times winners Italy slightly more

This makes me sad. I worry what else you're reading, if this is the kind of "source" you'd be willing to share on a public forum
I have no idea of the kind of source. It was just one of many that was appearing on Twitter X thing. Is it reporting something incorrect or would it have been ok to share if it was posted by, say, the BBC?

Just hope they don't risk him in the next match (assuming Wales progress).

About the events discussed? Doesn't look to be.
But that's rather deflecting from the far more important question regarding the motivation for such events in the first place - both their ethical and practical necessity.
At the risk of annoying @Samilktray again as he doesn't appear to be an AI fan (or perhaps because of Musk, dunno) here's a bit more from Grok...
