Why you persisting with this shite. Do you really think Blackburn, West Brom and Charlton wouldnt of upped their games today if they needed points? Their players would have already be on the beach mentally today

    Don't know. No one does.

Not really ... the two are connected... decisions made in the boardroom impact the team as the points deduction proves .... but it does alter the fact that there have been ample games to correct the deduction and more .... you seem to put our final position on the deduction.... fact is if you had been watching them week in week out you would realise we are a poor side that lacks any passion, fight, guts or desire to win games

I'm a season ticket holder, or was. Agree about the team performance. However, the stats don't lie...

It's everything to do with football and the fact that this team has not guts or fight, they were not playing for the club, its manager or its fans ... if we had the quality we are led to believe they would have put the points deduction well behind us ... you are only on this option because we scraped a win today....

No one is more angry than me about what has happened but, with respect, you are confusing the boardroom with the onfield player performance.

I can't recall a raffle and the winning ticket got a 6 point deduction..... it was given to us because of financial mismanagement... which will also be on the record books ... and they are the facts

Nothing to do with football then.

Clutching at straws .... the points deduction was totally self inflicted... it was left to others it would have been more points ..... we are relegated because of poor management and poor players

Just your opinion. I agree about poor performance but the facts, and the record book, will show that LCFC were relegated due to a 6 point deduction. That isn't arguable.

But would west brom have taken their foot of the gas if they were fighting to stay up?.  So many variables its really impossible to say what the bottom of the league would've looked like without point deductions.

The black and white evidence is a look at the final table. Everything else is just whataboutory.

To be fair, I see it as we have been relegated on the pitch anyway as let’s be honest, had we been in with a chance of staying up today, even a point ahead of Blackburn with it being a straight shootout, winner stays up, what would have happened? Wouldn’t have been a 1-0 away win that’s for sure….

Except it's not for sure. You most likely are correct as we have learnt not to trust these players. Nothing is a given though, is it, as Leicester City fans we should know more than most.

Total BS ... this team has totally underperformed...  the points deduction was enough games ago to make it  right ... and not leave us in this position.... its called having some guts and fight .... message meant  for spudulike

How can it bullshit? No one is arguing the players haven't underperformed. But it's factual that we would not have been relegated without the points deduction.

How? We cheated and were rightly punished. Absolutely fair. We went down because we are one of the worst teams this league has seen and absolutely stunk the place out.

It’s justice on multiple levels we have gone down.

It was an arbitrary decision to deduct 6 points based on arguable opinion, not football related. The same rules that will be changed as they are not fit for purpose.

You can argue as much as you like about our on pitch performance, and would probably be justified, but ultimately we have lost our Championship status because of decisions taken by grey suits.

Points deduction sent us down

I appreciate all of the other aguments about the clubs dereliction of duty, we deserved it, blah blah, but mathematically you are right. I just need something else to get annoyed about. Fuch the EFL.

    Bump

Dave Challinor has achieved seven promotions across his managerial career, establishing himself as a specialist in guiding teams up the football pyramid. Known for his high-intensity, attacking philosophy.

Was he the Tranmere player with the long throw? League Cup final 2000?

Probably multiply times the money. I guess it depends on what drives people.

Not sure we want a money driven manager but probably the only type we'll get.

    Aren't they all money driven?

Expect this coach is being touted all over europe (and beyond) by his agent.

He’s on a contract until 2028 and we have no money or at the very least we can’t spend any.
    Can’t see this happening.
It’ll be someone out of work.

I thought that we can spend money in L1 if King Power want to? Isn't it just player wages that are restricted as a percentage of turnover, of summat?

I’ve said for years that Rudkin lacks any agency.

The regime goons on here trotted out “somebody has to want these players”, well Faes got a move to Monaco and he said there we refused offers in the summer.

A good DoF is on the phone, meeting other clubs and agents, networks around Europe, gets to know Saudis and so on. Rudkin just smacks of being a meek, desk-based DoF who does everything by email (and infamously fax).

We’ve never lowballed teams like they do us, we’ve never foisted obligations-to-buy loans on teams, we’ve never engaged in PSR merry go round deals like Chelsea literally showed us how. We’ve never cashed in on pure profit academy sales - excepting KDH and Chilwell I don’t think we’ve sold any academy players for north of a million?

Iversen left on a free (Palace tabled 4m iirc?), Bassey left for a nominal fee, Maswanhise left on a free and so on. These sundry transfers should have added up.

Like @Dan said the excuse was, “oh we can’t sell these players for a loss because of PSR” which we then failed by an embarrassing distance anyway, there’s always been this embarrassing deference to a proven idiot.

An average DoF would have saved us about half a billion pounds this past decade. This is the sort of terminal incompetence which will kill the club.

That said, he did get more than top whack for Maguire and Fofana. Or was that big fat Sue?

Cool, now wait until he turns dogshit in a matter of months playing for us.

Amazing how they improve after leaving Seagrave Country Club and Spa. Perhaps sell him before he gets dragged down to our level and becomes worthless.
