Could it be that some sort of swap deal is being worked on with Middlebrough for Emmanuel Latte Lath

So, other than the obvious striker deficiency, the squad is actually stronger than last season?

Rudkin out! OK, he's probably never heard of him either but that's how we roll.

We signed Cannon with a stress fracture of the back.

Do we rate him above Soule if it was a straight choice? Better than KDH?

He must be crape if no other club has tried to hijack the deal. Call it off.

Maresca didn't want to play him in the Championship though. That's 3 managers now that didn't want to pick him. Summat's up.

Something really weird about this. Scored loads of goals for Preston in half a season, scored a few decent goals for us and showed potential but never really given an opportunity. There's a story behind this and we need to know.

Who will be the first to say didn't see that one coming? Always funny

Please don't post any factual comments on the Twitter/X thing. Only good (made up stuff) required

Subject to league approval and international clearance, blah blah.

It was after the Spurs match. Expecting the same again on Saturday.

The Oasis....Oasis Am I doing this right

On for a 15 minute cameo on Saturday?

Just long enough for West Ham to sign him

Might be too simplistic but if Sheff Utd are one of the clubs interested in signing Cannon then surely there's a deal to be done involving Hamer?

Lestaaaa!? Has our support gone southern or summat? Lestoh

He gave a hint before the Euros that a good tournament might see him going elsewhere. This latest stuff is a smokescreen.

'cos we all like a new centre forward. Fan psychology. We could most likely find a more useful striker out of the Championship but that would be dull.

Well that's cleared that up.

Thought that it was a bit insensitive to have that heartbeat sound over the PA as the Spurs player was having lengthy treatment. Odd.

Is Foxeshub audio free now?

I thought that Justin was one our best performers on Monday. Harsh to leave him out.

Probably never actually discover how much the undisclosed fee for Ayew actually was. All smoke and mirrors. I think we are still scared by the Bertrand fiasco and this feels like the club havent learnt the lesson. If he contributes to retaining Premier League status then we will have had our moneys worth.

Fearless is the best so far but still waiting for a book to do justice to 2015/16. I want a coffee table tome in a dairy style, a type of on this day, with photos, match reports, league table, quotes from the press, opposition, fans, Ranieri, to capture the feel and atmosphere of how the season unfolded. The sort of book that can be picked up and flicked through as a reminder and a talking point when your wife invites her friend around with her Spurs supporting husband! There's a gap in the market for this.
