Rail industry seeks fans’ views on train travel
Spudulike replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Might be talking bollox here but doesn't the German model involve a joint match/rail ticket combined? That's what we need and refunds for when the broadcaster's () moved the fixture to some impossible date/time. I don't use the trains, it's far too much hassle as things stand. -
Need big performances from our wingers as that is where we can take advantage of Leeds. If we get another Middlesborough performance from those two then it's difficult to see how we'll score.
-
Not watching it but have Hull started the time wasting thing yet? Keeper had a head injury yet?
-
The time wasting crackdown going well then. It all started so well after the Qatar World Cup but has now reverted back. Middlesborough started the pantomime as soon as they went in front. It was blatant, no shame and the officials played along with it. The customary goal keeper 'head injury' as soon as we started to build some momentum and the to-me-to-you chuckle brothers antics at goal kicks. At least the ref brought out the keeper yellow card around the hour mark rather than waiting until the last couple of minutes. .... and then only 4 mins stoppage time. Back to normal again.
-
I think that has become a theme. Seems to be very little media interest in us.

I'm giving up with these night matches. I travel 140 miles each way and I'm getting too old. I've used my resale quota so my seat (plus one) will be empty again. Sick of it.

Enzo went down south to buy a red Ferrari Instead he bought a baller His name is Harry Winksy He passes with his left foot He passes with his right And it doesn't matter who we play He makes them all look shite.
-
I suspect that Iheanacho is 4th choice now. Not sure that we need 3 strikers on the bench tomorrow.
-
Not sure there is that much to discuss. We know the probable starting line up and most likely how the game will pan out. We might have some points to discuss after hearing Enzo later.
-
Enzo will need to have at least one successful season in the Premier League before doors start opening. Perhaps more than one for a really top job.
-
He wasn't exactly boiling over with frustration despite the ridiculous headline. But, to be positive, the phrasing of the article clearly rattled a few cages bringing in to focus what we have and how complacent some of our fans had become.
-
They won't have their best left back available either.
-
We don't celebrate winning the league enough. I know that it's referenced in the Vichai song but nowhere else? Or the Cups. Considering that we are one of the famous 5 to win all major trophies this century it's a shame that we don't make more of it.

I couldn't go last night but at the end of the match they showed Enzo waving to the crowd and then a cropped close up of the section and it looked superb with the bouncing and flags.

Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Post Match Thread

Last league title was in 1930 which makes them about as relevant as Huddersfield (also a very big club?). Last FA Cup 1935. I don't think that it warrants the high status in the modern game the commentator was alluding to. -

One League Cup since WWII. That's all. Very odd how certain clubs retain such high status despite mostly never achieving anything. Sunderland another one. -

Commentator last night making reference to Sheff Wed being this massive, historical club. Just had a quick look on their honours board. So, it must be something connected to their stadium and all those FA Cup semi-finals. Not sure what else makes them huge -
Waste of time having him on the bench then.
-
Praet to do the dull first half stuff then swap with Yunus for the last 30 mins.
-
Wonder if they'll be singing the very witty and original grass song?
-
Probably right about that. It's been getting worse over the past few seasons but never this bad and I'm getting really wound up about it. This is from 2015... https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/nov/09/english-football-early-leaving-syndrome PS. If it is the fault of the Tories then I can't wait for it to change when Labour get elected
-
Is that you in the next trap to me?
-
This Enzo way is a bit crap, init. FORWARDS!!
-
Discussing this leaving early leaving phenominum on 606. Apparently fans were streaming out 15 mins before full time at Villa Park today when there was only a single goal between them. Not just us then. Wtf is going on?
