  1. WTF is Puel talking about? “we need to keep building momentum”. We don’t have any momentum to build upon. For me, even more damning of him as a manger than that performance is the fact that he thought it was a good one.
  2. And if you’re still wondering why there is so much negativity, I offer up that stinking pile of crap against Southampton.
  3. And that, combined with piss poor defending, led to a deserved defeat.
  4. It’s no longer about this season. We won’t go down so it doesn’t really matter where we finish. But looking to the long term; does anybody really think he is the manager to move us forward and push for the European place the owners so obviously want? I certainly don’t. And therefore I see no point in persisting with him. Sack him now or sack him after the last game of the season, but we need to move forward with someone else in charge.
  5. This is an open forum and as such I will reply to any post/thread that I want to. Who are you to say what conversations are to do with whom? One could argue your unwavering defence of a player with 3/4 year old stats who is clearly not of sufficient standard to play in the Premier League in 2018 is irrational. No it really doesn’t. It reduces the quantity of the squad but it does not necessarily reduce the quality or strength of it.
  6. I don’t and I post on here on whatever topic I want. But go ahead and ignore the rational and cogent point that I made. And I’d prefer to stick to the topic in hand and not do personal insults.
  7. I don’t, thanks. And the reasons why are irrelevant. The fact is he is offering nothing to the team now. He’s not offering nothing in relation to Andy Ming, Danny Drinkwater, or any other ex player. He’s not offering nothing theee seasons ago in the Championship. He’s offering nothing now. And whatever the reason for that is is irrelevant. A player who offers nothing shouldn’t be playing.
  8. It isn’t nonsensical at all. If someone deems the selection of a player to weaken the team, it is a perfectly rational thought process that if said player is unavailable for selection it will strengthen the team.
  9. I’m less interested in “had” and more interested in “is”. Maybe he had been creative and had offered something going forward. But right now he is not creative and he is not offering anything going forward.
  10. Stats from a level we no longer play at and comparisons with two players who are currently not available for selection to Leicester City is relevant how? The answer is, it isn’t. And if a Leicester City fan thinks Matty James (or any player) not being available for selection makes us a stronger team, they are perfectly entitled to that opinion.
  11. I’m not so sure about that mate.
  12. Chances are oz will be bang on.
  13. Fair point. I feel like that goes for most people on here though.
  14. He offers a lot less than Andy King.
  15. Some of us are able to support the team fully and (where appropriate) criticize an individual player and/or collective team performance.
  16. You think so? I don’t necessarily think he is. But the players who are being selected ahead of him aren’t either.
  17. Where to start... continues to to pick Ihenacho - no he doesn’t. Hasn’t picked him since he set up our only goal against Swansea. Its Mahrez’s fault - It’s certainly his fault we didn’t lose against Bournemouth. Vardy off the boil - see above.
  18. Which is one more than our midfield combined have scored recently.
  19. How can a player (any player) be considered a good squad player if they’re not good enough for the first team?
  20. Another Matty James special aganst Bournemouth.
  21. Albrighton has been very poor for a long time. Yes he always puts in 100% effort but there is rarely any end product.
