  1. Definitely after. Knew what he was doing, ball was booted out of play
  2. That's just pure stupidity from Trossard. What is Arteta even complaining about? If anything they should all know better after the Rice incident.
  3. On that replay it showed they may have a mild case to argue. Walker was out of position as the ref called to speak to him. But more had happened between the free kick and the goal for Man City players to switch on.
  4. This has potential to get feisty
  5. I expect to see Man City charged for surrounding the ref
  6. The positive being we'll hear much less moaning about 'how to play football' from Rodri in the next month or so.
  7. Let's just say I'm used to seeing goals being scored easily against defences
  8. That is far too easy against an Arsenal defence.
  9. Rodri goes to block him Then wonders why Havertz reacts.
  10. Earliest injury ever?
  11. Another late goal for Alonso at Leverkusen Something like 40+ times since Alonso has been there they've scored after 80th minute.
  12. Not that long ago!
  13. What was that pass
  14. Brighton must be bitterly disappointed they're only getting 2 points from these 2 home games against Forest and Ipswich
  15. Sadly will probably only be one game!
  16. Can understand it given his view might have been obstructed and Taylor has a better angle.
  17. From the reverse angle the scissor action changes my mind. Calm down.
  18. That's harsh on Gibbs-White. He got the ball. It wasn't even that reckless.
  19. Forest sitting in like we did against Palace. Brighton more likely to get the winner if they weren't so brain dead when getting into the box.
  20. We'll lose to this dire Forest side is Cooper is still here with us. And it'll be one of the most embarrassing results in recent history.
  21. Charlie Nicholas is here!
  22. Osmajic should be off for that. Biting another player
  23. 4-0 at half-time. Then they'll let up and make it 5-0 or 6-0 by the end of the game.
  24. We'll never know but I'd be intrigued to see, before the season, what Cooper and the staff thought we'd get from these first 5 games. They'd have eyed up these last two games after a tricky start to gain maximum points. While we conceivably could have been on 6 or 7 from 5, we're stuck on a measly 3 from 5, and the performances aren't up to scratch either. It's not like we've been unlucky in games (barring the Palace VAR sham). We've been outplayed for the most part, especially yesterday by one of the most mediocre teams in the league. Moreover, I'd love to know how Top/Whelan/Rudkin would have foreseen these first 5. If he's not hitting the targets, the board have to/must act quicker than seen before. It's a good test for them to see if they've learnt their lessons when you think how long it took to pull the plug on Rodgers. From Cooper's perspective, he has no credit in the bank to fall back on. I hate that we may have to lose a couple more to force their hand, and one of our next games is pretty much a guaranteed loss against Arsenal. Sack him after that if we don't win. Give the new manager a home game against Bournemouth to kick-start our season.
