The midfield 3 as well. So uninspiring as a collective. Ndidi as a 10 does not work. Winks and Skipp is fine to play as a partnership. Winks and Ndidi as well with Ndidi more defensive. But all 3? No thank you.

Bloody hell. How can you not play at least one or Fatawu, El Khannous or Buanonotte? Criminal and no wonder we struggle to win games. Can't go on too much longer where we a) start games on the back foot and b) chase games when we inevitably go down a goal

Our senior hierarchy don't have the balls to sack a manager this early in the season, let alone this early into his tenure. They'll hold out til late October/early November before even thinking about it. Top and Rudkin aren't ruthless enough to give him his p45, whether he deserves it or not. Top especially won't like the negative PR that will come on the back of sacking a manager so soon.

Love the Redzone. Makes it a lot more interesting. The only (minor) downside is you don't get much analysis on plays or replays because they jump from game to game. But you do get more in the 9pm/9.25pm games obviously as there's only 3 or 4 on at a time later in the evening. The commentator/presenter helps make it what it is. How he manages to flick between games and straight into it all is brilliant.

Great game between Sabalenka and Pegula. Just when one player seems to be running away with momentum they get sucked back in. Pegula was 0-3 down, 30-40 in that 4th game and then won 4 games in a row.

Not sure where else to put this but sadly so many fans, either of Villa or other clubs including our own, can relate to this post form a Villa fan. It resonates on so many levels about the disconnect between owners and fans, and how fans are being priced out of the game they once used to love...

Whole series was superb. Loved it. For him as much as the kids. What a warrior Adnan is. When he went through his story it made me well up.
