  1. Lucky to get away with one vs Sunderland a few weeks ago.
  2. Cheers mate. Hadn't realised.
  3. Points deductions every year between now and then. But reduced on appeal every time...
  4. Win the title on the final day and break hearts of Leeds and Ipswich (more so the former).
  5. RIP mate I'll be 68 when this happens. Probably have a fatal heart attack at the joy of winning it. What a way to go.
  6. Arsenal still without one as well
  7. Suarez can warm the bench. No one gets in the way of the goat.
  8. Champions League winners. Keep the champagne on ice until then...
  9. Vardy and Messi together at Inter Miami? Rest of the MLS might as well just not bother.
  10. He's going to Forest isn't he?
  11. Absolutely floored by this offer.
  12. All bottom six teams are involved against one another on 20/21st April. Not often that happens around this time of the season.
  13. Also Everton are playing mitigation again and admission of guilt to try and get a lesser punishment. That doesn't bode so well for us in some respects...
  14. Yeah anyone can see the form has been crap. But now it's improving and at just the right time, albeit perhaps a game or two late. Two wins in a row, capitalising on the rivals dropping points. We as fans can't change the players we have right now so not worth focusing on that (for now). Main thing is backing the team to get over the line, even when we're not playing that well.
  15. What do you mean 'happy clapping' though? We got the job done. We got the 3 points. Surely you see that it's the points that matter at this stage of the season? What makes you think fans are 'happy clapping' after a deserved win over Birmingham? Or can you only be supportive and vocal when it's a resounding thrashing? What's the barometer here...?
  16. I thought he was pretty good. How long has he been doing it? He certainly had the knack of commentating like an actual commentator and not straying away from his job to let emotions take over or be over-excited like other commentators.
  17. Are you stuck in a different era of football? You're thinking his job is only to save shots. Sorry, but in this tactic and setup, he rightly has more than that as his job. And based on the whole season, he's saved us more points than he's lost. I can only presume you have memory loss and are now only choosing to pounce on him after one mistake. You also don't allude to the fact he's played his part in squeezing the opposition out when he does 'emulate an outfield player' so that we can execute a move that leads to a big chance or better still, a goal.
  18. Forgive us for trying to support the team to get over the line
  19. I'm guessing Everton will have theirs deducted by a point, and in their best case scenario quashed to 0 points. Apparently they'll appeal based on the fact that they've had two breaches amounting to 8 points deducted, whilst Forest's breaches were 'worse' and only got 4 points. It just smacks more of PL not really knowing what to do with their own rules in their own jurisdiction. As if they're totally out of their depth like @urban.spaceman alluded to. They've made up a set of rules that was meant to 'level the playing field' but in turn it's just complicated matters even more so that when a team has seemingly breached them, they've not been prepared enough to indicate the necessary punishments for the level of such a breach. You'd hope independent regulation outside of the PL will smooth things up.
  20. Armstrong Rutter Vardy Whittaker Chaplin Not difficult.
  21. Not bothered about the mistake yesterday. Not as much as several others anyway. He's been key to some really good moves and sometimes goals, let alone probably saving us points far more than losing them for us. Some examples below... Not everything will always be perfect. There will be mistakes along the way. Learning from them is the main thing.
  22. There's a Joe Kinnear somewhere.
  23. We did it last Monday!
  24. So many players get away with it, more notorious than others.
  25. I'd love for referees to get tough from day 1 next season and continue it all the way through for abuse of refs. The amount of abuse they get that gets caught on camera (not that that should matter) is obscene.
