  1. This is West Indies at their best. Pure power hitting from Hetmyer.
  2. Especially when they had a similar incident vs Liverpool but that outcome was different...
  3. That still shows he's not even on the ground yet. So doesn't really back up that point? I think it's a red but not as vicious as others had made out.
  4. Keeper did well to be fair.
  5. Because he's not providing good competition to any player in his position. He's probably not testing any other player in training...
  6. Sheff Utd only 6pts off playoffs. If only we had some element of competency about us earlier in the season...
  7. Didn't expect to see such a scoreline. SL losing that fight in them that they showed against Aus.
  8. Liability on and off the pitch. Get rid whichever division we're in.
  9. I'm not sure he's a better footballer. Ayew seems to do whatever he wants, and to the detriment of the team. Drops deeps, leaves their CBs free to do whatever they want. He drops to the floor expecting to win free kicks at minimal contact. He's selfish, takes poor free kicks and corners. For such an 'experienced' player, he plays like he's totally new to the game and hasn't grasped what professional football is like.
  10. 2nd half indeed. But we can't be starting games like today against better opposition. Middlesbrough will slaughter us if we start like that! We constantly give ourselves too much to do and make things difficult for ourselves. The good thing being we do actually get back into games and the dominance seen today in the second 45 was promising for sure. It's not sustainable, though.
  11. So deflating seeing the way he plays. He's not conducive to how a #9 should play with his back to goal. 1-2s never come off with the attacking midfielders, he doesn't roll his defender with any guile or pace, he's not strong in the air, he's not actually that agile. He's clumsy and languid. Oh and he can't finish at all . Just takes swipes at the ball and gets lucky like shit hitting the fan. Some of it will stick, most of it goes all over the shop. He's only marginally better than Ayew, the lesser of two evils so to speak.
  12. Drop him. Get Monga in on LW and Fatawu on RW. Monga's best games for us have been on that side. Mavididi can be quite a hindrance at times...
  13. Just got a weak aura about him doesn't he. Doesn't really command the respect a top referee (at that level) should be getting.
  14. I proscribe to this but i also proscribe to trying to predict the future
  15. What were his post match comments like?
  16. Any update on Fatawu?
  17. I remember when he signed fans of ours and other clubs would say he has on and off patches. This is a really, really long off patch
  18. Feel like he would have proper got stuck into them at HT after that first half showing. And the players seemed to respond given the 2nd half showing. I'd be interested to see any in-depth tactical analysis on what he changed or tweaked. We seemed to get Mukasa on the ball a lot more and involve our wingers a lot more playing it quicker to them in 2nd half.
  19. Mukasa and James will tear teams apart
  20. 3pts separate 6th to 14th. Hard to call who gets that playoff spot.
  21. They needed a bollocking at HT because that first half showed no fight at all.
  22. The defence will drag us down. No matter how much we score.
  23. Mukasa was quality 2nd half. Ran the game and rewarded with the goal and assist. Finishing has to be better all round from others.
  24. Should have won it at the end. Aribo, then the bar then the post. 2nd half much improved. First half disgusting.
