Insane. 100 runs. And he only came in at 39 overs! Absolutely ridiculous. -

Maxwell madness. -
I trust we'll be professional enough here and not get complacent just because they're doing crap. Hopefully Ndidi is back and Iheanacho finds his football feet again. Yunus being back allows us more depth on the bench. I suspect they'll be one of the sides that plays with a low block and try and make it difficult for us to break through.

He missed so many smaller things, which then accumulate and both teams and fans get rightly frustrated. He was just really inconsistent. Should have been helped out by the linesman for the Faes penalty, and then should have spotted the Vestergaard foul on the box. Also somehow forgot the rules when it came to shirt pulling starting but finishing inside the box. Thankfully none of the decisions didn't lead to any big game-changing moments or a goal.

Crafty from Van der Merwe. I think he knows that's hit the ground. -
And he had the nerve to celebrate even though he didn't score. #maincharactersyndome

Hmm, I think Bellingham was okay against us yesterday, but there are better players around.
-
Seagrave? Actually, getting down on one knee at Seagrave probably isn't the best option...

Sky going on about Sunderland's penalty but not mentioning ours at all. Done about 20 replays of it

14 clear of 3rd is the main one

Last time a team won 12 games in 13 in second tier was back in 1905.
-
Those early chances he had in the 2nd half reminded me of what King would do. Bit more clinical finishing and cleaner connections and he has a brace.
-
My man of the match would probably be Ricardo. Covered the centre-backs well while linking up in his normal inverted midfielder role, and despite Roberts having a lot of the ball, he kept him quiet in terms of being able to create chances. The amount of times he had to track back and get a block or tackle in when someone else lost the ball was impressive. Think Dewsbury-Hall did well and it was probably difficult with not having Ndidi next to him. Casadei took a while to get into the game but 2nd half he was much better. Credit to Sunderland, mind. They pushed hard all across the pitch but their finishing was terrible. Odd game, as if you looked at the stats it looks like we dominated in terms of shots on target and actual close chances.
-
And a third. Penalty each as well. They had no shots on target 2nd half but it was the amount of opportunities they created that were concerning. First time I'd say we looked tired but we did dig in and saw it through.
-
That was tough, probably our most difficult game of the season. Another 3 points in the bag though!

Be nice if we just kept the ball for a couple of minutes.
-
We have to sharpen up and dig in now. They've got in behind a lot of times.
-
Feels like a game in the 90th minute. Still waiting for Sunderland to tire!
-
Dare I say we're looking quite tired and a bit leggy. Need some fresh legs in midfield...
-
Unlucky for Casadei again. Justin did well to cut it back and find him.
