No, it was neither a volley nor a half volley, it was a shot ( a fantastic one mind you) a half volley is the moment you kick the ball at the same instant the ball hits the ground, which in theory generates more power to the shot therefore the best volley was v West Brom pure excitement v Liverpool as I sit behind that goal

Sack it off altogether in my opinion interrupts the flow too much and it's a sport for the supporters who have made the effort to turn up at the game....not the fee paying "supporters " who have made the effort to turn on the TV yes, we'll get incorrect decisions, but it's a human sport Keep goal line technology though ? -

I am totally against VAR and the point about the pass leading to any offside decision is also crucial, we are talking split second decisions here about a knee, foot whatever being in an offside position, but at what point does the passers involvement become crucial? Point of contact with the ball or when the ball leaves his foot?? distance between the two players also plays a part split seconds where a linesman couldn't possibly be able to tell -

Level, so goal should've stood, but to be fair Huddersfield haven't been getting any 50/50 decisions and would like Huddersfield to win ? -

I seem to hate a lot more teams now than I didnt use to mind or care about didnt use to mind spurs ... fvcking hate them now for obvious reasons 15/16 similar for arsenal because of that changing room photo have always hated Liverpool ....YAWN hate stoke coz of the relegation to league one thing Man Utd coz everyone does everton ..... boring burnley coz of dyche , never seems to mention anything other than money newcastle coz their fans boo as soon as they concede a goal palace coz they nicked our flags West Ham coz they got a near enough free ground .....apart from that , not too fussed about the others till we play them ? -
I would hardly say ranting the original question was about the semi final of the fa cup, this season in particular, being held at Wembley if spurs reach the semis i think mr fishwick doth protest too much... maybe a member of the fighting cock lot
-
This is the point I was trying to make, if it's somewhere neutral, the other team loses out financially compared to the 2 teams in the other semi final being held at Wembley
-
Ground share with West Ham??
-
It was completely wrong that the FA allowed their poster boy team to be allowed to make Wembley their home ground this season wembley should only have been for internationals, cup, charity shield and play off finals
-
really hope they don't, but if because it's their " home ground " this season they would have to play somewhere else and therefore do the opponents out of a big pay day bad enough semis are played there anyway perhaps spurs should have been made to play all their( home) cup games at a different ground
-
Don't know if there's a topic already for this ... but what happens if spurs get to fa cup semi final?
-
Totally agree all about TV audiences and money Once upon a time football was a spectator sport for fans in the ground, we would have moaned that decisions had gone against us, but next game they might go for us we were always a yoyo club, but it wasn't so bad being relegated in the old days because you knew the next season we were looking forward to a promotion challenge.... money didn't come into it fast forward to now, £2 million pounds per place in the league!! it's all about the TV audience at home paying for sky and bt with instant replays and close inspection of every decision, while us in the stands haven't got that privilege while the current areas open for VAR review are open to someone's opinion, that is where the problem lies... people( humans)have different opinions
-
Psychologically did our league position play a part? For the players and the crowd?? early kick off and win lose or draw, come the end of weekends fixtures we would still be in eighth
