Just listening to LBC and people are calling in in droves to say they don't support attacking Stonehenge, making the point that the people who love Stonehenge have been environmentalists for years, its pissing off the wrong people. I mean even this guy doesn't support it.

He kept the Forest shitshow up and was harshly sacked last year. He wouldn't be remotely near being my first choice, but equally he's not Steve Bruce. Let's get behind him. Some of the best appointments we've made have seemed underwhelming.

As proven with things like Brexit, huge stunts and calling people thick doesn't wash it just entrenches people on their views. I genuinely don't know the answer to the best way to tackle this but I just know this isn't it.

You know it actually has the opposite affect though right? I mean the very people who need to listen to the climate change message are the very people you are moaning about being upset by cornflour. And when they see stunts like this, they don't think about the message, they complain about the stunt. It might not be permanent, but visually it's the vandalism of a beloved national monument, and that's all they see. They see it as a disgusting act of vandalism against something that has nothing to do with oil usage. It also add fuel (no pun intended) to Reform types to actually distract from the message. Farage and his ilk will be on TV talking about this stunt and not net zero, it's a distraction from the actual message it's not highlighting it. Look I understand the importance of the message and I understand protest and shock can be used to make people sit up and listen, but it's a different world now to when the Suffragettes jumped in front of the King's horse. You can show people irrefutable evidence that something like Brexit will ruin this country and they still vote for it. We need action and we need it now, but we need new tactics to get through to people.

See I totally agree with you about people of Michael Moselys level of fame. Outside the shows he made you didn't really see him anywhere else in media. Similar celebrity profile and reach as Strictly dancers or regular day time TV guests. If you don't watch the shows they are on you won't know who they are. But Loiuis Theroux? Surely everyone knows who he is. You don't have to have watched a show of his to have stumbled across him somewhere in the media. Can't get my head around having never heard of Theroux.

You can't observe something that hasn't happened yet. If Sunak did win the debate last week as the polls show, then if Starmer and his advisor have a brain between them they'll dial that line of attack back a bit, but it hasn't happened yet so we can't observe it and comment until it does can we?

You posted it straight after mine, there was no other mention of manifestos, so whilst you didn't quote me, don't make out it wasn't a direct response. Why are you making personal comments about me "hyper ventilating"? Can you not conduct a conversation like an adult without having a dig at people. Anyway, as I say, regardless of what's gone before, let's wait to see what Starmers says on Thurdays before criticing him before he's even said it, if the Truss attack line didn't work last week, maybe he'll drop it. And it's not like Sunak didn't mention Labour in numerous occasions today btw, but I suppose that's OK?

Maybe you're right, but it hasn't happened yet, so you can't critiscise yet as some kind of counter against my post about Sunak which was based on actual events. If the feedback shows that line of attack is mostly well received then I'm sure he'll continue it, I'm sure his advisors will encourage it. If it's not I'm sure they push him to move away from it. This £2k tax thing has made Sunak and the tories a laughing stock, more than they already were, and yet he persists.
