Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
EnglishOxide replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not at all. Just not a fan of a club which is financially in the shit blowing money on managers rather than addressing the real problems. No decent manager is coming to us. We might as well give time to someone who has accomplished something in football rather than gamble on some other chanoionship/league one chancer. -

Ruud had no say in the state of the club when he arrived. We were genuine shit before him and will be genuine shit if he leaves. All I'm saying is back then everyone wanted NP out for the same reasons they currently want RvN out. -

Nobody can agree on a lineup that gets us results because our squad is crap. What gives me hope is that we are down, we haven't scored in so long and genuinely it can't get any worse for him or us. The only way is up. It feels like we are at a stage where we just need to see the brightside of how shit we are and look forward to just getting a goal. At this stage we may as well back the team. The players know they're shit, the fans know we are shit. RvN knows we are shit. We might aswell all get on board with it and go in with no pressure or expectations from this point onwards. -

Didn't Pearson not win agame in a record 19 games or something like that in 12/13? Then success came our way shortly after. Sometimes its not about the manager, it's the players on the pitch. Like today us going 1-0 down after 2 mins just ****s the whole week of training up. -
Loses his man at the back post ALL the time. Faes gets all the shit but this lad is by far our worst defender and has cost us alot of goals by not doing the most basic thing of getting goalside of the last man.

Our squad is total dogs hit in attack and defence so I feel for him, but his persistence with Kristiansen is criminal. Kristiansen losing his man at the back post has been responsible for about a third of our goals conceded this year. I'm not ready to throw the towel in on him but I wish he'd see that glaring opportunity to fix a problem. -
Harvey Barnes to score. 1-0 to the Leicester boys at last.
-
It's time to **** 75% of this squad off and prepare for a 3 year transitional period in the championship. We are not coming straight back up this time.
-
We'd probably have been better off with Iheanacho. Which is not saying much.
-
The lad tries hard but he's shit.
-
Vardy needs some runners next to him. Mavididi and Daka. El Khanouss and Buonatte are ballers but they're playmakers and can only receive the ball when the whole team is too deep.

I think you can only do that if you start Daka. We need some pace. But we also cannot leave out Soumare/Ndidi or Winks. -

I'm not keen on Cooper. But our squad is struggling at this level. That's on the board. Nobody bar a Maresca level manager is going to get more out of them and that's if they even want to come here and see us as a fit for their ambitions. And if there is a proven manager like that going then I'd like someone to point them out. What I will say for Cooper is that he is reminding me of Nigel Pearson in the great escape season, and that's a good thing. He's making the most of what he has got, clearly he has the players on board with what he is trying to do and he is building a good spirit within the squad. He has no issue with players getting forward on counters. There may be a time to sack him this season, but this early stage is not it. He needs time. The board stuck with Pearson all those years ago when a big proportion of fans wanted him gone and it paid off. Lets see where we are at Christmas before writing him off.

I swear Fatawu goes for a halfway line goal once a game.

We could have been 3-0 down at half time. We've got to be tighter if we are to compensate for our lack of squad investment. But the team shown character to come out fighting second half. Vardy, Fatawu, Kristiansen you can tell that these are the players who will refuse to be passive. -
Would have been better if the pictures were actually in colour rather than having the blue overlay.

Good shit. Alot will be made of Fatawu but I thought that was Vardys best game of the season too. It was like he rolled the clock back 10 years. His pressing and runs were faultless. Hopefully Enzo sees the value in setting up for the counter now. -
I feel like our strikers are cursed.

Enzo Out? Time for an official thread/poll
EnglishOxide replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
This IS NOT a mid Prem squad. ****ing hell do you even know about football? We lost Barnes, Maddison, Tielemans, Schmeichel, Vardy (to age), Fofana, Soyuncu. Ricardo and Justin are solid but their injuries limits what their potential used to be. They were our players keeping us top half. The likes of Forest wouldn't even take Iheanacho off us for 8mill. Where are the mid table clubs looking to try and take our players right now?
