Can't sign him as he's from the same team as one player we've just signed (really..) and apparently we're now the new Ipswich and not Southampton, which we were a week ago Can't sign him as he's too short and needs to be 6ft to bring our average up Can't sign as he's too old (lots screamed about wanting experience) Can't sign him as he's just had an big injury (he's well over that but too old to properly recover, apparently) It doesn't matter what Ipswich fans (seems universally positive) think as West Brom didn't like Albrighton so what they think is irreverent. This forum can be hilarious (why I keep coming back ) with the constant changing of goal posts set which seem to swing wildly from one set of criteria to another for the perfect signings we should be making. While I share some of the concern's about how this could be bad, there are also some positives about the player that we absolutely do need and lacked with the losers we had hanging around the squad. One aspect we don't know yet is the fee or how generous we have been with the wages, that is what we have to be careful with regardless of the subjective opinions of those on this forum whether one likes him or not. Unfortunately we know if Rudkin has any dealings with this between his agency mates then we'll have had our pants down. We better all hope these signings work out as we have to win promotion otherwise liquidation is a real possibility.

All these wingers and one striker who is yet to sign and CB looking suspect. I’m all for a pattering of experience but this doesn’t seem like a priority to me. One thing we’ve doing is ridding ourselves of losers he will have a different hard working mentality. Other than that I think he’s got to be backup having not long done his ACL and is now 31. But likely another last big pay day.

He did just sign a new contract ..
-
He wanted a bigger role. But Rudkin got that and look what an amazing decision that was too …

Weirdly enough in 2016 Steve Walsh who had just left to go to Everton has line up a £4m deal for Haaland. But their idiot board vetoed the deal. Our bigger idiots at board level let Walsh go and presumably we’d have been the club to get him. We clearly using the previous scouting data base and black book went in for the other one. Sliding doors I guess.

Summer 26 Transfer rumours 'X' and other Weak Links
Lesta Legend replied to davieG's topic in Transfer Talk
Was on loan at Stoke last season scoring five. Quick and strong. Another player who would clearly want to be here who is willing to drop down from having played higher up. Assuming another ‘Coffee talk’ from RM. follows all the Leicester youth too.. -
Surprised me this, thinking he’d be around the squad. A big stand out this pre season by his performances with lots of game time I think he returns a real asset if he can continue with the knack of being in the right place at the right time. Has to be another striker coming in on top of Bristric.

Olimpija on the verge of a new million-dollar sale: 23-year-old striker Admir Bristić is about to transfer to the former champion of … England! PUBLISHED ON AUGUST 2, 2026 Olimpija on the verge of a new million-dollar sale: 23-year-old striker Admir Bristić is about to transfer to the former champion of … England! After the turbulence at the beginning of the season, things are far from calm in the Olimpija Ljubljana camp. While the club's management and coach Jugoslav Trenčovski are still shaping the final image of the team, a new high-profile personnel move is expected. As reported this morning by Ekipa, striker Admir Bristić is leaving the Dragons, and it seems that he will not be in the squad for today's championship match against Aluminij. The 23-year-old striker from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who shone last season as a loan player for city rivals Bravo (scoring 15 goals in 30 games), has left for the Island with the permission of the club's management. The new center, as we learned, will surprisingly become Leicester City. The former sensational English champion from 2016 is going through hard times, having been relegated to the third English league (League One) after finishing second to last (23rd) in the Championship. Bosnia and Herzegovina striker Admir Bristrić has returned to Olimpija, but he is still very grateful to Bravo: “The club gave me a lot, and I gave him a lot” Admir Bristrić is back: Olimpija played against Luka Zahović’s club at Kodeljevo, the match ended with a score of 1:1 According to our information, the transfer to England is extremely close to being realized, but the deal is not yet completely closed. Bristrić still has a medical examination before the cooperation is confirmed, and the compensation is said to be between 1.7 and 2 million euros, according to our reliable sources. The Ljubljana team has had a lot of problems with efficiency at the beginning of the season, but the club has nevertheless decided to seize the opportunity for a high-profile transfer. They will try to fill the gap in attack with Alex Tamm, Federico Rose and the young hope of the Dragons, 16-year-old Fabian Lungu, and in the coming days we can also expect some new reinforcements at the coach’s request -

It’s a risky game from our perspective as we keep end up being stuck with players the next manager doesn’t want. But to be quite frank I don’t trust our recruitment team and I some of our existing players. He’s probably knows a refresh is needed the club better hope he gets us promoted. Hopefully MacCarron can have a functioning team come next summer -
Tommy Watson - (loan from Brighton, as per Alex Crook)

He tailed off granted, like most of the pathetic losers in our squad last season. But that is no barrometer to measure a teams capabilities in finding and nurturing talent, which those clubs do well. Leicester should still need undertake their due diligence even for loans under Rudkin well let's leave it at that.. I kind of get the feeling we're at least looking at a logical profile of player now, likely Maccaron leading that task. -

Those on the forums know as much as the weirdos on here that said Monga was shite and overrated. He'll no doubt do ok in his career. Two teams that excel in recruitment and statistical analysis, especially Brighton. I'd be confident with standard of this player who probably needs game time... Hopefully he can excel at league one level and help us get out of it at the first time of asking. The club wouldn't go far wrong with another loan from either Man City and Brighton. -

Crooky confirms it then. -
Will be like Paul Gallagher I'd imagine, not particularly good in any particular position, scores some blinders, lots of fans don't like him and will be a nightmare when trying to move on as some chump offered him obscene wages.

Summer 26 Transfer rumours 'X' and other Weak Links

Honestly if we'd had a sprinkling of these signings last year and even including Cullen who you'd think would put in a shift ahead of the likes of Ayew I don't think we'd be league one. The mind boggles why we didn't take this approach last season. And players from Brighton will have had a lot of DD done on them. A striker (on top of Cullen!) and replace any CB that leaves and we looking quite strong -

Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager

While this is a very real concept and goes against the best person for the Job, regardless of his limitations on the pitch from what I see and hear Hamza is a strong personality and a leader in the dressing room. That's why he gets picked ! Like us all while he's fcked up with some of his antics off the pitch. I don't think he should be, I'd imagine RM has other's in mind, Conor Chaplain maybe. But whether you like it or not he is a strong personality and does care for the club and we have had too many shrinking violets in this team and those that just don't care. Is he the best option at present probably not but there is kind of a logic as to why he gets picked ! -
Now that's clever 😉

Oh gawd yes, sorry Ms Pinder is an upgrade for sure on Mrs Vardy

TBH I hated his appointment, I've warmed to him and would take the stance as a fan that I will support him as I don't wish to see another relegation. What should infuriate any fan is we have that rank amateur incompetent still very much in control and still making the same mistakes. This club can not ever be well run or competitive with Top and Rudkin calling the shots. I wouldn't right off Cullen as a player but I still don't think he is the right target but I guess a RM signing. The fact we could well be overpaying on wages with where we are is unacceptable. Of course we're not playing with facts at this point but it wouldn't surprise me this is true.

The sooner it all goes tits up the better. I'm sick and tired of it all tbh.

Maybe just delete it? I'm sure you just don't know...
