  1. That's KP for you !
  2. If the news yesterday didn't make it clear, we likely won't spend a lot if any on a top quality striker. The club relied on what they had last year. I'd imagine will play a lot next season with a loan or a mysterious good free that hasn't been snapped up and wants to play league one football. It's probably unfair to build him up and put undue pressure on him. But I get it, we're desperate for the youth to step up as we can't rely on the incompetents to get it right.
  3. Also their consistent upward trajectory on the pitch has helped with unrealised gains with potential huge growth (premier league..) which has helped further investment. Us on the other hand we have been mismanaged on and off the pitch with a steady decline over the last 5 years (if not a little longer IMO), so our downward trajectory on the pitch has severely impacted the valuation of the club as an asset, the potential (it does still have !) will only ever be realised again by better management at every level of the club and investment. Anyone who still believes KP are capable of doing both, we you're completely delusional.
  4. They haven't stopped at all. Money is still very much flowing especially into US and Europe. However more cautious in their approach and a reshuffling and rebalancing of portfolio's. However that latter point would suggest a splurge of cash into a sports company would be less of a cautious investment at the moment and with the pull out from LIV golf may be a good indication that some of those that dream of the oil money may be out of luck.
  5. With that in mind any potential buyer would probably see better value in picking us up cheaper in administration, they can wait it out. And if KP takes the delusional Chansiri stance, we very much will repeat the slow painful path of Sheffield Wednesday.
  6. I can see it now, struggle to get promoted into administration by the end of the season. I wouldn't out it past them.
  7. Good find works a charm
  8. Our new overlords. insha'Allah habibi
  9. Some weirdo's would seriously be ok with this over Musk. But I would be happy if it meant Top is gone
  10. I imagine the future of the team itself is precarious...
  11. Those expecting to be spending lots of money (or some of the sale money), or any for that matter, probably time to start managing your expectations.
  12. We got relegated, the whole team was piss poor no thanks to Top and Rudkins constantly poor strategy over theast half decade. Abdul was one of the best signings we've made in a long time and regardless of your frustration with what you saw last season (I saw all that too) his attacking stats were our best in the team. Along with Jordan James he will go onto a good career away from absolute that cesspit team that likelybecame horrible to be a part of. Many fans I'd imagine felt the same, RM has a gargantuan task on his hands! Wish Abdul all the best, I hope he shines in the premier League and brings the same levels and energy he did show.
  13. You’re not wrong, probably the best recruitment in years. He was our best player at creating big chances (ones likely to lead to a goal) in that first championship year by a country mile and I believe the best in the league too. Our best last year too alongside most goal contributions just ahead of Jordan James who most people didn't have a bad word to say about. He isn't part of there group of players who've been badly recruited and stunk the place out, you can tell his dropped off at back end of season but like JJ he did try but was surrounded by dog shite. If we hadn't fallen through the league's we could probably demand more. But one thing is certain we won't have a player like him for a long long time. Think Riley Carr is exciting but he has a long way to go to get anywhere near his output.
  14. You're probably right in terms of where the market is for him but we're demanding £10m for Ben Nelson and he hasn't just had a brilliant world cup campaign. Less than £2m seems like an absolute steal.
  15. Shy of £2m. Hhhm.
  16. Otchere is the older more senior player being the in the U21's for a while and had a good season. Hutchinson has clearly burst onto the scene with a bang and stepped up to the U21's FULLY mid season.
  17. Our abusers are the owners not whatever patsy they bring in....
  18. Which would be a record for the league we’re currently in.
  19. Thought i'd post it in here, my mate went to the England game viewing at the ground, this is the comedy of errors my mate confirmed in a WhatsApp group "1. Guy on door couldn't find the button for the tickets on the card machine - had to ask someone 2. The aircon broke so we all got free dinks 3. They tried to turn up the sound, which was a comical farce - no one new how to do it 4. Poorly advertised max 40 or so people in the end 5. No vinegar or ketchup - i asked for ketchup and got mayo! 6. Barman asked if he wanted ice with a bottle of Old Speckled Hen" I am pleased about the positives like Winks and Vestergaard fcking off but the rest of the club doesn't look in great shape either.
  20. Where we’re at, ok loan spell at Lincoln last year. Think this alongside ings and our existing youth strikers is perhaps what we’ll go with…
  21. It was vital the poisonous toad was gone.
  22. IMO getting rid of Winks Vesty and VK is essential. A change in mindset is the only way we can begin to move forward and I believe at the core of any change starts with those players fecking right off . Of course Faes has to go too I still don’t think they know what they’re doing recruitment wise and very much rely on agents. I could be wrong but we’re not spending lots, so loans and free will be what incomings are made and I can’t see past the club relying on agents for that. But the club are at the very least working to get these cnts out.
  23. Tielemans leaves for nothing and now also miss out on what could have been the potential sell on fee and we're seriously building a shite ex Southampton squad through agencies. Best run club in the land.
  24. He can’t feature in RM’s plans surely. He’ll make dozens of mistakes leading to a Goalscoring opportunity during the course of season. Easily avoided, sell.
