Well yes he is a good player and did make the difference and I’d rather Skipp and Soumare fck off. But he was useless last year and if anything became a hindrance as we spiralled to yet another relegation. I don’t see why we again let another player leave for no money in the hope we get promoted and he leaves at the end of the season regardless. On promotion the powers that be may even offer him a new deal, the stuff of nightmares. Unlike the other players I’d like to leave there seems to be actual interest in Winks, we literally can’t afford to not sell players. Yes we need players in regardless (freshen up etc) and we also need to give our youth a chance I don’t see why we continue to take the incorrect short term approach that hasn’t worked. With the way KPFC operates with the lack of any news of incomings we know what’s coming next, maybe the fact we’ve heard so much of the need to trim the squad and use youth players means just that. Some have to prepare themselves mentally for the fact we may not go back up or we could have a much weaker squad and our best chance with a points deduction is pushing for playoffs. You never know we could go for broke keep BEK and Winks and we’ll easily get back up but I just think we have to start learning our lessons and the club start getting things right.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
Lesta Legend replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
I love Bilal, it's clear how good the lad is, foreign country first year in English football with a team fighting relegation, some down playing his ability, his output can be excused! There is a reason why half the premier league are interested regardless of what some of the vapid takes on his ability on here are. But the same people who can't fathom him going (he will!) are also the same ones that get infuriated with the club letting players go for free, not getting their envisaged player values when selling - the club has mismanaged us to the extent that PSR completely fcked out ability to compete and our negotiation stance is shoddy to say the least. There is zero chance we hold onto such a player because of the same reasons. The same with Winks, if there is interest, it's his final year the club NEED to sell. We may find it harder to bounce straight back, we need to re-set and the club need to start making better decisions . And if they don't recruit better then they''ll be forced to change that too -

This will start ramping up now. That release clause will be activated for sure with a few days left. -
Any fan getting overly emotional with Winks staying need to cast their mind back to the inability of the club moving on players and the huge negative PSR impact of not bringing in revenue from sales and continuing to pay massive wages we cannot afford. We’ve a points deduction on the horizon we shouldn’t shy away from selling any player and especially those that will have no intrinsic value come the end of their contract this summer. I like Winks he changed the game yesterday I would rather keep him but club should realistically be selling him and replacing him as he’s in his final year we can’t afford to keep hold of players letting them go for nothing in the hope they’ll be the difference in terms of promotion. That’s insane.

Exactly. The basis of your opinion and evidence is one game. Jeez.

If no one meets the release clause, which he’s clearly worth more than then the club should hold out for a silly amount. We’ll miss his creativity and he works so hard, which will massively impact us. But he is destined for the top. -
Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Lesta Legend replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He was never the signing we should have been making last year it was a poor signing. However he’s here now and will do well in this league. -
VAR aside and any decision people are getting their knickers into a twist about we were hammering their goal and they were time wasting for at least 45 minutes. Without the heroics of their keeper who I’m sure will be snapped up soon we’ll have probably be sitting here with a comfortable win. Wednesday gave their all as we knew they would but second half was one way.
-
I didn’t boo him I honestly don’t get the mentality or logic. We’re trying to win the game seems stupid to do so IMO. He reacted to prove those fans wrong I guess and I’ll not be offended by it. But it’s his attitude and those of his colleagues that in part got us relegated twice and for that reason we have to get him out even if via loan. While we have raw players like Ben and Kaleb who’ll only get better by playing more games
-
Thats a loan with loan fee they won’t be buying him outright within this window.. The link previously posted above talks specifically about Malick Thiaw and his potential replacements, which included Caleb. So yes there could be potential he goes which goes hand in hand with the talk about him wanting to leave previously. Personally want him to stay and partner Nelson but if by a miracle an Italian club with money burning a hole in their pocket offers £25m there is no way this club doesn’t go for that.
-
Assuming now Malick Thiaw (€40m) is on his way to the toon then if there is any truth in this then he’ could be off.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Our useless DOF aside we won’t be replacing Bilal we can’t afford to (the talent at least) and we also can’t afford not to sell him we won’t be spending £15m plus on a singe player. Our best hope is a couple of smart loans or a small outlay on a lower league players who I’m sure will trigger a lot on here as we replace Bilal for likely perceived inferior players. Due to the essential need to sell before we can buy any players whose stats have stood out statistically will have likely already even snapped up, it is what it is. Our attacking X factor will more than likely come from the wings. -
Also Stolarczyk has been intended to be the number one this season. He’s ready to take that step he isn’t wet under the ears. Lots on here moan about needing to sell and use our youth players and then when it happens they moan.
-
With the amount of games plus cups. Yes he’ll play.
-
He’s been a great servant for the club. While playing for us perhaps one of the best in his position in Europe, a good reason for our continued success. But injuries haven’t been kind and we’ve suffered too. He’ll definitely be a player I’ll look back on with fondness maybe not his row Z efforts. He’s done us a favour to sign that contract to eek a little of much needed cash.
-
All those that said we should be getting x amount the market isn’t there, no one is clearing willing to pay what we expect. West Ham clearly actually interested all the rest are just rumours. I’d imagine this now puts more emphasis on the hope Wilf is off and Bilal will go now. Poor Stol!

They can’t even use their North Stand now deemed unsafe due to the required repairs not being made. And this is after their tw@t of an owner used a Thai firm to assess the stand, this company had neither the qualifications or experience in the UK to do so - their assessment rejected but the owner was willing for fans to continue to use the stand. You have to feel for their fans.
