Agreed, what does Nacho have to do to start one game, never mind a string of them. This is the same player who scored 17 goals two seasons ago and was our leading scorer.

The Hind is an absolute dive based on the experience my wife and I had a few months ago. We went in for a pint after going to the Little Theatre. The landlady there had a face like a slapped arse, and the pint of bitter she gave me was as flat as a pancake. She refused to exchange it and she looked like it was a real bind-giving any customer service. Let's hope this pub is a massive improvement.

The point I'm making is that we can sometimes get tunnel vision about how poor our home support is. It's only when you go away and see other clubs' home support do you realize we're not as bad as we think, the example being how quiet Newcastle support was on Tuesday night. The sooner the results improve the better the atmosphere will become.

Obviously you weren't there on Tuesday night. Their home support was worse than any KP atmosphere this season, and I go to every home game.

I was there, and we sang for about 70% of the time until they scored the 2nd. Then everyone was deflated. The Geordie fans were awful, totally quiet ( other than at the start, 1/2 time, and after each goal), and it puts a totally different slant on the KP atmosphere.

If you think we're bad, the Geordies yesterday were absolutely dire. I was at the game, and they only sang at the start, half time and when they cheered the goals. Otherwise they were 'totally' silent. When we sang " football in a library" and" where's your famous atmosphere", it was the truth. It's really good to get a different perspective by visiting grounds with quiet fans, then it makes the KP not that bad.

Have to say I do like a bit of statistical analysis, and I stand corrected.

Totally agree. Some people here criticize the ultra culture saying they don't need a megaphone or drum leading them in the singing, but clearly they do especially home fans.

On the issue of stats, one thing that used to be available everywhere in the old days, was home games... Won..drawn lost. Goals for and goals against, and the same for away games. Can't find this anywhere ( managed to find goals scored/conceded on the club website).

That trip will stay long in the memory. Loudest fans I've ever heard in 41 years of going to football.
