A club can seperate from their fans was my point on that one. You are right it doesnt look good for the club but all clubs are able to distance themselves from small cells of fans who want to shout racist stuff or all the other deplorable stuff they do.West Ham and Millwall spring to mind. The club now can go "it's not our fans, its just a set of idiots we want nothing to do with." If it was a chant about wanting Rudkin out without talking about killing the bloke, its a different story, but also wouldn't make more than the local news.

Chants like that now mean the club can play victim and blame any protest or anything on a "small, toxic section of fans" and sit there then sit back and watch the other happy clappers spend their money. Its an idiotic chant, its drawn the wrong attention, its ****ed up any sort of power any protest would had for a good while and its damn right out of order to think its ok to chant about murdering someone.
