  1. Charges are unrelated but judgements like this blow holes in things apart from just what you are facing. Their legal teams will be reading through this and finding anything they can use, even if it just kicks the can down the road a few more years.
  2. If we broke it last year in The Championship, I think the point deductions are only added once you drop back into the EFL.
  3. Short answer is "almost certainly not." I think the Premier League would have also said in their statement of which course of action they would pursue now if there was one.
  4. For those who don't want to read a 22 page doc, here is GPT summarisation. I bet that FY rule gets changed soon: Summary: Leicester City Football Club (LCFC) successfully appealed against a decision by a Premier League Disciplinary Commission that found the club breached the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSRs) for the 2022/2023 season. The Appeal Board, consisting of three senior legal figures, overturned the Commission's decision on the basis that LCFC was not bound by the relevant Premier League rules after its relegation to the English Football League (EFL) on 13 June 2023. Key Points: Background of the Case: The Premier League accused LCFC of breaching the PSRs due to losses exceeding the upper loss threshold of £105 million for the 2022/2023 season. LCFC contested the jurisdiction of the Commission to rule on the matter after the club's relegation from the Premier League. Jurisdictional Challenge: LCFC argued that it was no longer bound by the Premier League rules after its relegation on 13 June 2023. The Appeal Board agreed with LCFC, emphasizing that liability under the PSRs could only be assessed after the completion of the club's financial year, which ended on 30 June 2023—after the club had left the Premier League. Commission’s Original Decision: The Disciplinary Commission had ruled that LCFC remained bound by the Premier League rules for the 2022/2023 season, even after relegation, to ensure fairness and prevent clubs from avoiding penalties by being relegated. Appeal Board’s Decision: The Appeal Board found that the Premier League’s rules did not apply to LCFC after its relegation. The PSR Calculation for FY23 could only be performed after the end of the club’s financial year (30 June 2023), by which time LCFC was no longer a Premier League member. The Board concluded that LCFC did not breach Rule E.49 of the PSRs as it was not a "Club" under the Premier League rules at the time the breach could have occurred. Importance of the Accounting Reference Date: The Appeal Board noted that LCFC’s decision to change its accounting reference date to 30 June 2023 was critical. This decision, albeit coincidental, meant the club's PSR Calculation fell after its relegation, thus placing it outside the Premier League’s jurisdiction. Final Outcome: The Appeal Board reversed the Disciplinary Commission's finding of jurisdiction, concluding that LCFC was not in breach of the PSRs as the rules did not apply to them post-relegation.
  5. Someone at Man City is reading this judgement and fobbing themselves silly. Their team will love this ruling.
  6. So now I am learning that my Twickets alert for Oasis isn't working then from the comments here. Off I go to fix that!
  7. I am the same. I refuse to pay gym prices but I hate autumn and winter with a passion. Forcing myself to have no excuse and went out in the piss down rain this morning. May as well start now or I will find it way too easy to find an excuse when it's pitch black and 4 degrees.
  8. Tried for 11 hours, closest I got was I got to watch the standing tickets vanish infront of my eyes and them "in demand" tickets appear. Had 4 of them in my basket. I refuse to pay what I could get an all inclusive week away for a day out. No band is worth £300+ for a 1 day gig. Glastonbury is £355 for 5 days of music, Liam and Noel want that for 1 day in a park? You can bollocks. Nothing will change, they still sold out and idiots paid the surge pricing, justifying that they can charge it and people would pay it.
  9. Will always remember that time he grew an extra head in that clash of heads against Derby. Great guy and great player. RIP Sol!
  10. One of the only games I missed that season because I was ill....
  11. All the presale codes have been sent out now according to their Twitter. 7-10 tonight is presale before tomorrow's scramble. If I get them, great! If I don't I will just stick a Twickets alert on and maybe grab a spare if one comes up. I saw Peter Kay 2 weeks ago for £30 using Twickets the same day as the gig. I wouldn't have paid more than that to see him, and all them £120+ tickets sold out in a day.
  12. Can still register for presale until 10am today and the codes will be with you no later than 5pm if you are successful. No one fecking knows what time the presale starts though still....
  13. And the cheapest Wembley tickets that are seated I will bet are actually behind the stage like Taylor and Styles do.
  14. No priority standing ticket but it being part of a package is either a rip off to get golden circle buyers to pay more or it's a typo and it meant to be premium standing ticket. Neither would surprise me. £435 is a joke to get into a "party" which will just be a bar, see some meorabilia and get some lamonated stuff you then have to carry around with you for the whole gig.
  15. Doubts over the Letby case seem to be surfacing more and more often now. I know I have seen a few Reddit posts casting some doubt on evidence. Then to counteract that, I have seen the armchair social media folks saying "I worked on the case and" or saying how she 100% is guilty. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c39k44n8j1mo
  16. Registered at 9pm last night, got the email near midday today. The original claim was that on Friday if you haven't had a code by noon you haven't been successful, now it says 9am on the confirmation email. If those emails are as slow as these ones, you will be lucky to get the code before December.
  17. Still waiting for email. I submitted mine around 9pm. Got the feeling someone has got to give something a kick and they will start coming through later today.
  18. Manchester Evening News said "expected to be over £100, possibly around £140" They have also reported SeeTickets are also selling the tickest.
  19. I wish you the best of luck! I despise TM as well. Live Nation themselves are selling them which may give another way in. As I suspect with you, this isn'y my first rodeo for tickets for the big gigs. At least it isn't SeeTickets who naff up the Glasto sale every year.
  20. That will crash before TM does for certain. They have already had to stick a queue page just to check the venues
  21. But Noel needs to pay that 20m divorce of his somehow. Liam gonna be winding him up something chronic
  22. Touts will be loading their bots up ready. Even with extra dates the ticket scramble is going to be awful. If Peter pissing Kay can crash Ticketmaster, this will put it on its arse.
  23. Tickets for this will be like trying to get rocking horse shit covered in unicorn horns...
