The Guardian claim they have seen details of 19 planned rallys this weekend and a lot of people are saying how Twitter is one of the reasons for this quick spread of misinformation. The fact Musk replied to one of Tommy Robinson's tweets as well just shows that place is becoming more dangerous than it already was. The fact people are using it whilst saying "can't believe how bad it is here, I don't want to use the platform..." whilst having a paid for blue tick and then using it to promote their business or project seems very ironic. Zuck dropped the ball with Threads, but he only made that because he could, he never had an intention of supporting that for long.

We could argue this one and not agree all day long, but I think it's a misunderstanding between us but we are both saying the same thing. I was showing how one is using actual research and one is taking unverified stuff and making it up. I am not sure how we seem to be not seeing the same thing. Then with the possibility that Russia could be spreading the misinformaton to de-stabilise the nation, which has already been proven they did in the US, this will run for some time, and without wanting to be tarred as stereotyping, with the suspect having a name that racists can jump on it being "not British" this will rumble for some time, whilst families are grieving letting their kids go enjoy a summer holiday activity and never come home, which should be the only thing being discussed right now, not that the police are preparing for 3 or 4 more nights of this shit. Usually what will stop them is rain. Any chance of them getting wet and the protest numbers drop. I await someone making the joke about Gremlins.

What an awful start to the week news wise. There is allegedly a far right group threatening to protest in Southport tonight because of that name and info on the suspected murderer. The police are now trying to head that off at the pass by telling everyone the name being floated on Twitter is incorrect and that they were born in Cardiff and aren't a small boat crossing immigrant. The rise of the far right, especially on Twitter, is starting to concern me to be honest. Feels like the tinderbox is ready and one spark is going to cause a heck of a lot of shit.

Picked up F1 Manager 24 to play whilst I am watching the Olympics of an evening. So far I have McLaren 2nd in the constructors, but them Red Bulls are just rockets. Won 2 races but they were both rain effected. In the dry I stand no chance. It's not realistic in any way. As an example I finished 5th 20 seconds behind 4th and 6th 30 seconds behind 5th in Spain. It's been a while since I have seen a race where everyone up to 5th had been lapped.
