  1. Tickets for this will be like trying to get rocking horse shit covered in unicorn horns...
  2. I remember me and a friend laughing for weeks after Sven was appointed. It was a wild ride for sure, but started the process of building a PL winning team by bringing kasper in.
  3. I'm out and only have Livescore to go on. How is it going? I see you guys slagging off VAR again.
  4. Should be alright for tomorrow I think.
  5. Looks interesting. Good number 10 for sure. Just go to hope there is someone on the end of all his through balls.
  6. Which paper has the exclusive tomorrow do we think then? Edit: He has done something rather bad as his agent has dropped him too.
  7. If we had the money for a loan I don't think it's a stupid move to have a look. We need a striker, so of course we are looking at another CB. Chillwell I wouldn't have back if he came for free and gave out free lollypops to the fans.
  8. Beat my PB for 5k today with 37:08. Still hauling 12lb more than I did when I set my previous record, so once that is gone I am confident that 30 minute 5k is coming.
  9. Always reminds me that Wikipedia has a page dedicatied to all those people keep falling out of windows in Russia suspisously. We need one for tech bro billionaires that have suspicously died in the past 12 months.
  10. I think Vardy may get his 200. 9 more goals isn't impossible. I doubt Vardy will play cup games though.
  11. Steve Cooper programme peice: --- **STEVE COOPER** **Dear Leicester City supporters,** Welcome back to King Power Stadium. I am proud and honoured to be the Manager of a great club that I know means so much to you all. Tonight, we start a new chapter in the great history of this Club. I am still new to Leicester City, but I want you all to know that the values of our Club are very important to myself, to the players and to our staff. We are back in the Premier League, and we intend to grasp this opportunity - as this Club has done so often in the past. I am very grateful for the support and kindness from the many Leicester fans I have met at pre-season games and at our Fans' Forums this summer. I know that the season will have its ups and downs for us all, but I am confident that if we stay together then the future is very positive indeed. Starting tonight against Tottenham, I hope that we – as players and staff – can build that bond between fans and team that is so crucial. We are committed to giving you, our loyal supporters, exciting performances and a team you can be proud of. The players have shown in pre-season a deep commitment to what we are asking them to do. This is in the way we prepare for games, in our style of play and our application to the task at all times. They have worked hard in every aspect. For myself, the players and the staff, Leicester City’s success means a great deal. We will give everything this season. At times, we will all need to be robust. Both as a team on the pitch and for our fans here at King Power Stadium and in our away games in the Premier League. You have seen great things here in the past at Leicester City. Be assured that this team will also give everything to play exciting, successful football. We are working hard in all aspects of the Club to build a team, and a squad, that will live up to the standards you demand. I also want to take a moment to pay tribute to Craig Shakespeare, who passed away earlier this month. We will celebrate Craig’s life before the match tonight. From speaking to players, staff, and supporters, it is clear just how much Craig was loved and admired. He leaves behind an incredible legacy at Leicester City. I would like to send my condolences to Craig’s family and friends at this difficult time. I extend a warm welcome to tonight’s opponents, Tottenham Hotspur – and all their staff, players and supporters. My thanks again to all Leicester fans for your support, and please get behind the team tonight. Yours sincerely, **Steve Cooper** **Manager**
  12. I can't post the image as its too large, but I was down the stadium this afternoon and got a programme. Tops message is below. I asked GPT to transcribe it as I couldn't be arsed doing it word for word. **FROM THE CHAIRMAN** **AIYAWATT SRIVADDHANAPRABHA** Good evening, everyone, and welcome to the return of Premier League football to King Power Stadium. Nights like these – taking on clubs like Tottenham Hotspur in front of the eyes of the world – are what we’ve spent the last year working, striving, fighting to re-establish in Leicester. Our achievements of the last 10 years would suggest this is the level to which we belong, and our task over the next 38 games will be to prove it. Spurs will be a typically challenging Premier League assignment on matchday one and an excellent opportunity for us to measure ourselves at the level. Welcome to our summer arrivals, particularly our manager Steve Cooper and his staff that have joined our Men’s First Team operation. In our meetings before his appointment, Steve had a very clear vision of how we could build on the success of our promotion campaign and ensure the squad are ready for the increased demands of the Premier League. We have players that have played at this level, but it is a different test as a newly promoted team, and we must create an environment in which the team can thrive. We must be ready to stand together – players, staff, supporters – with strength and resilience to fight through adversity. Every point will be so important. The role of our supporters is as important as it has ever been. Only with your consistent backing and vocal support can we create the environment we need – especially at home, where our advantage can make such a big difference. We will have difficult games this season, games against some of the best teams in the world, and it will be our togetherness, our unity that guides us through. We must believe in one another and fight to the end. Tonight we will pay tribute to Craig Shakespeare – a man whose place in the Leicester City story is unlike many others. Having managed the Club himself and served as an assistant under three different managers during the most successful period in Leicester City’s history, Craig left an unforgettable impression on every player and member of staff that had the pleasure of working with him. As a coach, a colleague and a friend, Craig’s dedication to his craft, his warmth and humour and his commitment to helping others achieve success became defining characteristics and earned him the respect and love of everyone. He will be missed by us all and we extend our deepest sympathies to his family. Shakey would have enjoyed tonight – the kind of occasion that defined the period in which he was so successful with us. Let’s make it an atmosphere to remember. **Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha** Chairman
  13. There is a chance Spurs could bring their bottling plant with them here. If we get a draw I am happy. If we get a win, I will be extatic. If we lose by 1 I will be positive.
  14. And there will still be people telling other fans to shut up as we should be grateful for 2015/16
  15. Whilst the Twitter exodus seems to be going on and everyone moving to Threads or Bluesky, the Premier League now decides to launch into the Twittersphere with something a lot of people will want to see....always on the front foot these fellas....
  16. We pay Danny Ward the wage of a small country to sit on the bench. Stupid wages is what we do at this club! Edit: Sit on the bench!? Sorry, I am doing him a disservice there. He actually helps the club doctors out. He is good in cold and flu season as he can't catch anything..... I'll get my coat...
  17. Gerrimin
  18. Which Journeyman will we get on loan this time? There won't be one for almost certain sadly. We could beat Derby's lowest point record and we would still have half the stadium saying how we should be thankful and grateful because of the miracle achieved 8/9 years ago.
  19. You won't be surprised to hear the Facebook groups are jumping on anyone who is pissed off by this whole situation.
  20. Beware of Trojan's bearing gifts. You could get a Saudi, you could get a Mike Ashley. You could get one like Sheffield Wednesday that is basically at war with the fans, releases weird statements about the fans behaviour and is now saying if you are caught in a knock off shirt you will be booted out the ground.
  21. I can't see the account on Twitter and after yesterday's performance in the Zaha thread when I nearly bought the thread to it's knees I am scared to do anything any more. What is this Ashley's credentials or this just a "ITK" sorta guy?
  22. I am waiting for someone to say they saw @Ric Flair go down the middle of that escalator on the tube. I once watched a mate of mine walking into a crowd at a festival when he saw a Snickers bar that had been thrown at least 30 foot in the air hurtling in his direction. He clocked, paid it no mind and kept walking forwards. It proceeded to hit him straight in the middle stump and sunk him.
  23. Humphery was interviewed on Radio X a few months back and said that he showed Rob the Sunderland Documentary and then Rob called him and said "we should do that." It's not in the video but live he said something along the lines of "Rob said we should do that and get promoted all the way up." Rob I feel may want results and instant pay off in results faster than Ryan would in my opinion. If they do get stuck in League 1 for a season or 2 it will be interesting to see what happens. The documentary will be rather dull and no hollywood endings. They interviewed The landlord of The Turf recently too who says the same as a lot of people are really. It would be great to see them do the first ever back to back to back, but it may be good for them to stay in League 1 and let the infrastructure catch up a bit first.
  24. You got me, It's all a double bluff! Anyway, before I get a knock at the door saying I am being sued myself for libel, would it be out the realms of possibility that a club could somehow pay the possible tax bill for them or compensate them for it to get the deal over the line? Everyone should pay their fair share as has been said, but we know how it works sadly.
