  1. Well unless that source has mentioned it in his replies to someone (I can't see them as I don't have a Twitter account), they haven't mentioned tax evasion or tweeted since August 5th. Have they posted something in replies anyone who can see them or is it because I don't have an account I can't see these tweets? Fossehub haven't tweeted in a while according to what I can see. Edit: oops. Didn't realise that link would post every tweet they had ever sent. I'll get that deleted!
  2. Wouldn't this be better in the current affairs section?
  3. Fossehub make more shit up than The Daily Mail. His guys have just straight up admitted to tax evasion have they? Something that is illegal and could get you sent down. At best it's an avoidance, and even then you wouldn't make it public like that. Honest to god I hate that Fossehub account. They will get done for libel one of these days if they aren't careful and just go for Social Media engagement harvesting with triple like this.
  4. I found the link for the article. It is the most AI written article I have seen for a while. It goes off on some right tangents. It starts with talking about Dean texting Vardy and ends talking about Jack Grealish getting a text from Craig Shakespere. I wouldn't recommend clickling the link without an ad blocker though. Sweet Jesus this thing is swamped with ads : https://www.givemesport.com/dean-smith-asked-jamie-vardy-to-sign-for-charlotte-fc/
  5. I listen to The Rest is Politics but not Leading. How Rory and Alistair pronounced migraines "megraines" the other day made me want to scream though.

    UK Riots

Tin foil hat time. There was no way those far right guys could organise a weekend away in bridlington, let alone 100+ demonstrations in 48 hours across the UK. There were only 30 being reported up until 4-5pm yesterday as well. This is either a catastrophic failure by Steven Yaxley-Lennon and Farage to see how many far rights are out there or the government/police showing their numbers to try and shut this down. The more ludicrous theory is the police "leaking" the locations on social media hoping the counter protesters outnumbered them, but I have said through all this that counter protests just stretch an already stretched thin blue line. Glad nothing major kicked off last night, hoping this is the start of all that fizzling out and an exodus of people from Musk's platform.
  8. Samsung always do some great offers like that. My wife had that when she got her last phone. She then lost the buds and we bought some new ones. Somehow she had dropped them into the Christmas decorations boxes when packing them up for the year. We found them December the following year. Also found out she had dropped a keepsake of our dead cats hair in the same box. She was rather happy when we found that but I couldn't believe the buds. It reminded me of when my grandma "lost" her engagement ring so my grandad bought her another one.
  9. Never let the truth get in the way of getting someone to click onto the page and show them 4000 adverts to collect the revenue. My adblocker made the site look like the the page was written by a 5 year old.
  10. Musk now sueing companies that boycott advertsising on Twitter for lost revenue. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/06/technology/x-antitrust-suit-advertisers-elon-musk.html?unlocked_article_code=1.A04.iwoh.jMOxsiqoY_zG&smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare In other news....I am off to sue Margot Robbie for not marrying me.
  11. It will depend how stretched the police are surely? With Sky reporting there may be 30 demonstrations tomorrow and that may stretch the police, the Palestine march in London on Saturday and then add Millwall and QPR both being at home, they will drop the football to cover gaps.
  12. It's grandstanding I think. Lebanon and Israel is the same. Israel knows right now they have US backing, so are able to prod and poke stronger than Lebanon knowing the US will help them.
  13. The 2 arrested in Leicester have been named and charged. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/two-charged-after-leicester-protests-9461782 I sit here writing this in a place that I know I won't be targetted by this, but if misinformation causes stuff like communities coming out to defend their streets like in Bolton or Birmingham, whilst understandable it will cause more misinformation by the right wing morons who make up stuff, like the claim a muslim stabbed someone in Stoke or this bull about their being a "Muslim Defence League." I think the police said it yesterday, and I bet it becomes a larger note, these counter protesters are not helping because it splits resources and makes it harder when they have to do investigations. Last night in Plymouth you saw loads of people on both sides of the road on Sky News masked up. If you are there to protest against racism or fascism, why hide your face unless you have some other motive?
  14. That was Saturday. Both got arrested.
  15. I've deactivated my Twitter account and schedudled it for deletion. All full of horrible, racist and intolerant bullsh** and Musk either knows what he is doing and stirring the pot or is moronic to the point that makes Trump look sane. So gone to the methedone of social media and joined Threads for now.
  16. They will be releasing loads of people to make more room. It was only 4 weeks ago they basically said they are full.
  17. Not talking Maccies here. Was talking other takeaways. You take your life in your own hands having McDonalds of KFC round here. If it ever turns up there's still a 50% chance you end up with arse plague for 48 hours.
  18. Both of which are also nowhere near as cheap as they used to be. When buying for 3 of us puts it into the £50 region, it isn't even like its a cheap treat at this point. And if you get it delivered you can pay upto a tenner in delivery fees.
  19. UK has been saying that for a while hasn't it? Or at least saying you best make plans to leave as if/when it kicks off they can't get you out.
  20. As long as we end up with more points than Derby in that season I don't give a F. The rest will sort itself out in the end in one way or another.
  21. I have been given a 4 pack of Guinness nitrosurge if anyone wants them? They are a good price apparently, but when you need a £75 peice of kit to get the bastard out I will stick to the cans.
  22. GB disqualified in the 100m. False start by 0.073 seconds.
  23. I remember when I worked in the bookies and the Tour De France used to be the only entertainment through the summer days. 6 odd hours it will take them and a lot of the coverage is them showing you all the nice things on the side of the road or lovely landmarks.
  24. Look out for flying hippo's guys! https://news.sky.com/story/hippopotamuses-can-become-airborne-for-substantial-periods-of-time-researchers-discover-13173957
  25. Stick them all there and when the contract expires in a few months, let the Dutch take the ship back. No need to unload the folks on it guys, take it as is. 1 careful owner, never raced or rallied, well not that kind of rally..
