  1. There is a way to do it, but no one wants to be the one to publicly post it, get sliding into DM's and I bet you find an answer
  2. They shouldn't have to is the point, not that people who don't work day to day with tech don't know how to circumvent the system. Unless you are going to share with the class how to do it, this just comes off as a pointless gloat that you understand NFC's better than someone who doesn't.
  3. I am for the ban, but the tax gap will be large unless they increase it on vapes/alcohol/a decriminalised substance. The clientele may be dying but it's still a lot of tax. The next problem will be finding something to do with all the single use vapes that people are binning with all the batteries and alike in them. They are better for you but we need to shake off the need for nicotine in the country in total, otherwise you replace smokers with them idiots who look like steam trains but the smoke smells of mango.
  4. You couldn't write this....
  5. https://x.com/CharlieJC93/status/1778873426037395461
  6. Someone get the bedsheet and paint....some signs need making for the next game.
  7. I am shite at Football Manager games but even I know that when the clubs have scouted out your tactics and are panning you week in, week out, have a plan B... This is starting to feel like we are doing this on purpose...
  8. Daka couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat....
  9. My daughter has really started following us a lot closer this season. She just said she can't believe this and is shouting at the TV. I am sorta proud, but I got to tell her that if she wants to follow Leicester from now on well...
  10. There have been some wilderness in the Championship years I can think of. Too bad to be relegated but not good enough to push for play offs. Well boy we soon set that record straight and went a lovely visit to League 1.
  11. Recently got back into running now winter has gone and getting up at 6am to do a pre work run doesn't feel like hell on earth in the dark. Got an app called Runna that is helping me with a reintroduction programme. It seems very good as I am already going further than I used to. The plans are good but the only drawback is it costs £15 a month. I am using that as incentive to make sure I get up and bloody use it though. Got one of them free month links if anyone did want to try it. Said I beat my 2 mile PB today, but I know there was still walking involved in the session so I hope to smash it again once I am back at being able to run constantly for 2 miles.
  12. When are the play off semi's? I need to order the 4 slice toaster ready for the bath that night.
  13. Were these the marathons he did for one of Vichai's charities? He lives around here so I have seen him a few times and had some interaction with him on the cesspool that is Twitter in my time. Seems like a nice enough guy in my eyes. If he is being put through the ringer or lost his job because he worked for the BBC and accepted a pair of trainers from a company that wanted to help sponsor him, I struggle to see the issue. BBC platform aside, Twitter has since been deemed almost a level playing field after the Lineker incident last season. It's not like he went "thanks to Under Armour for giving x amount and providing me with these new supersharkydoodle F90's, Out tomorrow and available from Sports Direct for £89.99. Use Promo Code "GRIFT" for 30% off your first order."
  14. That happens to us all as we get older. Perfectly natural.
  15. Any scenario that seals automatic promotion please. I don't care how or why. Also for someone to root round the back of the sofa and find out they left their £500m cash there and all our financial issues are sorted.
  16. Welcome to the s-show that is football in this modern era. Relegations and promotions will be decided after the last match in a court room. Any team who goes down will give a go at getting more points taken off their rivals, if either go down they will take action their side. The fact that we won't really know who is promoted until a week after game 38 is a shambles.
  17. And this is why I don't work with numbers for a job. Thank you for correcting me!
  18. The point I believe is we have more points than Derby in 3rd did at the end of that season, so if we had this tally now, we have enough to have secured 2nd in that season.
  19. Ipswich lost, Leeds losing. Only a Leicester City team coukd find a way to not take advantage of this! Proove me wrong.
  20. Gotta make this count now. They will know the opportunity is there and they need to take it.
  21. I think Derby's loss against Boro on the Saturday wrapped it up. We beat Sheffield Wednesday in the Friday game and were confirmed promoted with 6 games to spare. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013–14_Leicester_City_F.C._season# We promptly celebrated a lot, then got beat 4-1 by Brighton 3 days later.
  22. Give with ,1 take with another. We get Tuesday then Friday with Millwall and Plymouth away and then 8 days off. Leeds get Tuesday then Saturday for their games and both at home and then 9 days before their next game. Ipswich have a 14 day gap between games at one point. Wednesday Saturday then seemingly a week off before then their final run in being Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday. Got to love the run in....
  23. Tomorrow's game is the last of the season that won't be televised then. The "positive" being that if you buy a NowTV Sports sub for a month today, you get all those games. Fiver a game isn't too bad. Or 3 people buy 1 subscription with the little bolt on, then 3 different accounts can watch it at the same time. Don't have to even be in the same postcode, let alone house...
