Knew he’d done well but wow!

Bought my first ever icons yesterday. Was a bit worried on paper they had less points with Crespo (87) for Aguero (89) and Nedved (89) for Hazard (91). But they were both a massive upgrade. Played 6 SBs (2 legendary and 4 pro) and Crespo got 14 goals!

Finished the La Liga one. Nothing amazing in the packs, an 85 and 86 and a few 84s. Oh and a Brazilian CDM with the turning circle of a double decker bus!

I've got Trent playing in this team. He is very good and gives nice links but having my most expensive player as my RB is probably a bit excessive!

Just finished the Prem SBC from players I had in my club. Best pull from 20 packs were Declan Rice and an 84 Perrin!

How have you managed to get Vardy and Zlatan in the same team with decent chem?

Did about 12-15 PL upgrades last night for something to do. Got an IF Rashford, IF Walkers Peters, Azpilicueta and a couple of 84s. Had most of the cheaper players in my squad anyway ready for the PL SBC (sometime in July!) so was able to sell the tradeable. Anyone get anything decent?

Got Tevez up top next to Aguero with a mainly Prem team and Poch as manager so his chem will get to 9. Played 3, scored 3 and 4 assists. He’s good as you’d expect, bit of a pain having the 3* WF which makes you hesitate a bit. But overall early days but looking good.

Didn’t think I’d be saying it at the start of the season but think our two full backs are currently my favourite players. After a slightly weak start Pereira is looking class and Chilwell is looking the player I don’t think anyone ever dreamt he’d become. Lovely stuff!

My main pack was a triple board threat; Benzema, Subasic and Thauvin. Probably shouldn’t complain but not quite what I was hoping for!

I’ve found Legendary ok recently, it’s Professional I struggle with! Won a Ledgendary 4-1 this morning conceding the usual 25 yarder from a bronze RB that was playing up front. Play a half decent Pro team and they pass and move for fun.

Swapped Eriksen for De Bruyne yesterday having been trying to decide if it was a big enough upgrade to bother. In short it is, he picks out passes I’ve not even seen! Which isn’t actually a compliment but you get the point.

Just packed Laporte in the Laporte SBC. Feel robbed!

Completely agree. I only play Squad Battles and I’ve gone from comfortably winning to struggling big time. Like you say the CPU teams ping it around like the Harlem Globetrotters on any level! Much prefer the collection of cards than the actual gameplay. Should probably revert to Match Attack cards and save the frustration!

Just finished my free draft token matches. Some random player observations: Cruyff: just amazing and silky to control Seedorf: felt a bit clumsy Pogba: see Seedorf Lewandoski: get close to goal, shoot, goal! CAM Reus: nice Just need to find about 2m now to get Cruyff into my team

Basically this! Someone advised me to do this and won one 7-2 earlier propelling me to Elite 3. Just need my Black Friday pack luck to change now. Opened loads and not sure I’ve even seen a board.

Did the Dortmund part of the Sancho SBC and packed Varane which was a welcome bonus!
