Absolutely no offence to the guy, but can’t even be bothered to read it. Could be the same interview from 95% of new managers, all very easy to say but time will tell if it translates on the pitch.

My new favourite cape, knocking Supermans off the top spot. -
See the Russell Martin appointed thread. Not like people in there are singing his praises! Few people seem to like his Mrs, but tbh it's borderline creepy.

I mean we’re going to face a lot of low blocks so having a manager who prioritises possession is a good fit. And he has a decent rep for developing and promoting young players. Thats as optimistic as I can get about it!

He looks like what you’d get if you asked AI for an image of a middle aged manosphere influencer.

Posed for a picture with Puel once and as he moved away the back of his hand brushed against my willy. That was comfortably the most I enjoyed his time managing us.

No idea who, but we’re desparately short of goals throughout the whole team. I’d imagine we’ll get at least a 9 and 10 on loan from a bigger club. Most teams promoted from league one in the last 5 seasons have had at least 1 player who has got close to 20 goals.

Chatting to Gemini this morning (as you do!) and “it” said that objectively there’s a 12-36% chance that AI essentially causes a doomsday end of civilisation scenario this century. And it’s 80%+ if you added quantum capabilities in. Yet we keep running at it essentially in an East vs West arms war. Honestly blows my mind.

Brilliant thanks for this. That’s my day written off trying to decide whether to have Gabor Bori, Marko Futacs or Zsolt Laczko 🤬 -

It was persisting with the same style with Southampton in the Prem when it was killing them every week that did me. Somewhere between arrogance and plain tactical naivety, but this bloke wore it as a badge of honour. Meanwhile Top and Rudkin saw it and thought…

Only behind Ayew as the player I was most despondent to see starting/subbed on this season. Plus given his wages I’d imagine it’ll take a very low offer for us to sell him. However if he is here, he has aggression and a decent turn of pace, which are attributes we’ll need next season. You’d hope the drop in quality will excuse his limited technical ability and he could do a decent job as a CDM if we are stuck with him. For the record I hope that’s not the case mind!
-
Surely it’d just be quicker for him to just block Rudkin’s number… “Frank, Jon here again. We should lunch. I think this is your number but errr not heard back from you. Anyway, call me.”

Pumped for next season with this news: Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass. Interception, long ball, 1-0 down. Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass. Loss. Post match interview about football philosophy.
-
I bet said players weren’t complaining when they were being signed for big fees, agents were getting good commission and the fat wages were being handed out. We were stuck with them due to inflated PSR book values and then wages none of them could earn elsewhere. All points to Rudkin but I have little sympathy for the players in this instance. You took the money now suck it up and put the effort in.

Going to happen more and more, particularly with Prem clubs pushing to cap the compensation via tribunal. Brexit cut off the EU supply so unsurprisingly the greedy beggars started fishing in another pond. One we now swim in with a cost base that’s way beyond what we’ll make at any tribunal.
-
I know, but they’re still a big Prem club.
