  1. Lascelles was as brutally honest in his post-match interview too.
  2. But are we still capable of losing at places like Palace?
  3. Just remember.... One of our centre backs has a rather large appendage.
  4. One U22 ticket available SOLD NOW.
  5. Ah, I see. Not surprised to hear that. Or not hear that Cheers
  6. Certainly not wrong there Geoff. Off-topic, but while you're on... What happened to your 'Up The League' slot on TalkSport? I used to enjoy that. Is it a permanent move handing the EFL reviews over to The Moose? Nowhere near as knowledgeable as you on the subject. Probably get brickbats for this now an all
  7. Me neither. "The format of the league was very difficult to be a success with". That's him in a nutshell. Finish top or near the top - you could go up. Finish near the bottom - you may go down. Very difficult Nigel. Struggle to get your head round that and you are not just an idiot, but also somebody who thinks they can pull the wool over people's eyes. Absolutely no correlation with anything to do with his contribution to the development of LCFC.
  8. I see you didn't bold-up 'per se'. Per se is used when talking about the qualities of one thing considered on its own, rather than in connection with other things. But like others on this thread, you only want to pick out bits that suit your own agenda. And, anyway, not literally everything I have said contradicts that statement. You don't appear to want to read it all. As I say, just picking out the bits you want. That's a very blinkered approach. If you're going to have a pop at someone for expressing an opinion, at least be accurate.
  9. And pinned an opposition player to the ground, and the "FOAD" at a supporter.. and constant denial and arrogance in interviews at OHL this season. I think he was brilliant in that interview with Pat Murphy btw. Top bloke for standing up to that verbal attack. So, I'm not anti-Pearson per se, but I do have my own opinions of him. And I realise there a several on here who just simply will not hear a bad word said, I've seen that over the past few years.
  10. Maybe I should clarify, when I say "The ONLY thing our owners have got wrong, in a really bizarre move, was setting that clown back on again.", I am referring to the appointment of him at OH Leuven - (as per the context of my post). I thought it was, at the very least, a surprise move... and it proved to be almost disastrous. Thankfully Top sacked him (again) in time and OHL's results picked up and they survived. To read his excuse re the 'format of the league' is laughable. Strange team selections and lack of motivation in the players I would suggest as a more factual reason. Clearly it wasn't a wrong decision to set him back on here (Nov 2011). And as I said above, getting us out of League One at the first attempt was crucial for the club. I stand by 'clown' though. I've heard him called a lot worse so I'm surprised at the venom being thrown my way.
  11. So what part of his excuse of how he failed at OH Leuven do you agree with? The format of the league? The ‘difficulty’ of the format? Delusions of grandeur that fella. He very nearly got OHL relegated. They were second favourites for promotion pre-season. You speak to their fans and see what they made of him. Getting us out of League One at the first attempt was the best thing he did. We could have languished there for many years, and for that I will always praise him. But come on, that drivel he’s just come out with is embarrassing and again shines a light on his limitations. Plenty on here just won’t accept it. And so there’s no point debating it, but “Clown” actually doesn’t do it full justice. ”Balloon-head”?

The ONLY thing our owners have got wrong, in a really bizarre move, was setting that clown back on again. But tbf, it's a difficult format that league. Maybe Top and Vichai didn't factor that in.
  13. I'm over next week for the final game

  16. Good luck to OHL tonight
  17. The OHL ticketing website only accepts Belgian cards, so I'm going to have to buy on the day. Hopefully it won't sell out?!
  18. Ta. I actually came over to Leuven in October, but it was the weekend the games were postponed because of the match-fixing investigations. I did go along to the ground however, and in fact I managed to just walk straight in at the corner where Trib 3 meets Trib 2. It was a lovely sunny evening and there was nobody around. I took some great pics and videos and walked passed the dug-outs and up the tunnel to the glass doors. Unfortunately they were locked or I'd have gone in for a look round. So, I didn't see a game, but still had a good time, and really enjoyed Leuven, the town and pubs. This time I'm on a one week trip, with 2 nights in Leuven then taking in Mechelen, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam before heading back to Bruxelles.
  19. Which side of the ground are the dugouts/tunnel in that diagram? Blue (Trib 3) or yellow (Trib 1)?
