  1. Just join the A50, go into the inside lane and stay there at well under the speed limit. Yep, you just stay there.
  2. Small labour majority.
  3. Keeping an eye on a van which is being erratically driven. Low and behold at a roundabout the driver fails to remain in his lane and I have to take evasive action. I also use my horn to let them know there are other people on the road. At the next junction they remonstrate with me for beeping them 🤷‍♂️. Probably a liverpool fan - its never their fault eh?
  4. Its ridiculous. For 2 adults and 2 children from Manchester its £112 Nuneaton £78 Leicester £351 And for another line, Peterborough £77
  5. Adult and child return to London from Leicester £175 from Nuneaton £63 including parking at the station. Wtf.
  6. "Worth £416" its £205 in B&Q. "For just £139" plus £39 postage.
  7. No. The time to sack them was over two seasons ago when it was very clear with the direction we were heading.
  8. I think the gantry cameras work by having cameras feeding the sign on the matrix into the system. So if you keep an eye out for these you will know theres a camera (especially where visibility is blocked due to a lorry or where the gantry only has one pillar support - the pillar is thicker and so the camera sits behind the pillar). Heres an example by east mids airport.
  9. BREAKING NEWS!!! They aren't eating something 😱. But what if they combined this with eating? "I took a drive down Narborough Road and these are the food outlets I tried"

    The gym

Yeah form is key. I was doing 10k in a session at one point. But I was the same as costock fox, knackered. After a month or two (2/3 times a week) I was comfortable doing 5k and then 10k. I can do a 5k in a sub 20min now but i tend to pace myself to about 21-22 minutes. My issue with rowing is that i cant pace myself, I want to go quicker. Which over a couple of k is problematic. I just cant switch off (which is what you want to do, just forget where you are and what you are doing). I now listen to an audio book and cover the screen. In my head i subconciously count how many strokes. I can now switch off and pace myself to where i am that day (ie a bit stiff, tired I will go slower). I will go gradually quicker as well as the distance builds. And then bingo! I have done 5k. Also for @Costock_Fox look to mix it up. I will sometimes do sprints in the last 1k, so I will either do four 250m sprints at 1.30 per 500m or two 500m sprints at 1.30 (again depends on how I am feeling). Try and set yourself a target like 2mins per 500metres and do it for a target like 250 metres. Breaking it up like this will help alot. I was struggling to do a sub 2min 500metres over 250m when I first started.
  12. Will the new B&M store at Beaumont Leys allow you to cut through like Wilkos did?
  13. A46 joining the M1 at J21a. Those who use the junction for Glenfield/Kirby to beat the queue on the 46 where it merges with the M1. 1) The two lanes at the junction, the left lane is left only and the right hand lane is left and straight over (to rejoin the 46/m1 - the lane the shortcutters want). Cars in the left lane going straightover and causing incidents with those who are legitimately turning left from the right lane (I have had several near misses) 2) If you are past the exit, queue. Don't just drive over the hatched lines and think you can pull out infront of traffic on the exit ramp (me emergency braking to a stop from 50mph this morning to prevent an accident).
  14. Pissed up no doubt.
  15. Don't get me started on matters like these. See also those who are very slow, leave a very large gap and then slow down approaching the lights because they expect them to change. Then they emergency brake when they are at the stop point when the amber light comes on.
  16. Funny you say that. I've just mentioned to someone else that those vehicles are usually driven by cnts who have no regard to the highway code and other road users.
  17. The M1 closed again. Can we just sack it off, get rid of it? It causes more of a nuisance then anything.
  18. Top work by Sam the "Audience Editor" here. First rule of copy and paste, change the regional names. Second rule of copy and paste, change the links if they are not relevant.
  19. Given the news surrounding why the M1 was closed and subsequent events, it puts everything in perspective.
  20. Cnt in a van. He was in a long queue of traffic. I was turning out of a side road in the opposite direction. He has nowhere to go and is 10-20 yards from the junction. I pull out, he accelerates and tries to block me in. I'm having none of it and he ends up facing oncoming traffic as he swerves around me due to the fact that I love a game of chicken. Whats the fcking point.
  21. If i was in my car, I would be putting up a vid in here saying that this fckrs getting points! Unfortunately her car doesnt have a dash cam.🤬
  22. Saw an absolute cnt this morning on the A511 heading between m1 and the roundabout by the charnwood arms. Violently under/overtaking when spaces were not there, weaving between cars (all vehicles they were going past were doing a minimum 50mph). It was very tight and they almost clipped a couple of front ends as did it.
  23. Yep right where the speed camera is as well. I knew the council was financially strapped, but I didn't know they were that desperate.
  24. Well you can't have it both ways! Saw this today. 50mph sign right in front of a 40mph. Pointless putting them up! Too many signs on roads.
  25. And even then they get the basics wrong.
