Don't think it's murder but friends of mine who have played ice hockey reckon it's hard to see how he didn't go in to hurt him (having seen the zoomed in footage). Didn't Will Alves get his leg snapped on purpose and people on here were clamouring for a GBH charge? The racially aggravated stuff is clearly bullshit and going in to hurt people is pretty standard in ice hockey and they are exceptionally well padded so it is a horrendously unlucky thing but I don't know how people are saying what happened either way. I literally don't get how anyone has this opinion. He tried too hard, not not hard enough. He was one of the least culpable of our team last year and was routinely our best player in a season where the manager was woeful and nearly every other player was shit.

I met with him during my previous job. Was a nice bloke, loved Everton.

As opposed to the completely balanced routine slagging off of a player who now plays for England and is a star player at the team that are top of the Premier League.
