Rodgers used to bemoan the market as the problem but that’s a complete cop out imo. This setup is as slow as the government and needs to be shaken up to realise that anything is possible when you give a shit and move quickly without process. If they know an agent is going to dick around for most of the window which is an uncontrollable, why not deal with the controllable items of signing a player and spend time on the negotiating side? It’d lead to better financial management and brokering anyway. I’ve heard some football clubs are turning to AI for the administrative crap that slows them down, and even base level scouting. In the nicest possible way Finnegan, most of what you posted and the sentimentality got us relegated the last time. Whether it’s him or others in the team making these mistakes and being poor, they’re wearing our badge and not performing. God knows what the EFL have cooked up for us next year. Simply needs better from literally everyone involved
