ALC Fox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Good article. He's been a major part of our recent good form and if we're to stay up then he will have played a major part in the next few games as well. The article also shows how Pearson's relationship with the media means nothing as long as he has the support of the players. Until that support goes, he's fine. Look at Mourinho. He's hardly been a ray of sunshine since he returned to Chelsea but he's box office and the media still love him from his first time there. If Pearson had behaved exactly as Mourinho has this season, they'd still have it in for him. Saying that, the BBC journalist was right yesterday in saying that somebody needs to tell Pearson when he's stepped out of line. Back to Schmeichel though, his maturity is extremely impressive and his decision not to uproot his family has probably helped him become one of the more consistent performers in the squad. I'm just not sure about 'Schmeichology' as the name for a range of goalie gloves.
