Mainly 8's - 9 for huth and mahrez.. Rated ref poor he missed a lot of things and IMO one of the worst refs we had... Missed s'ton player smack huth around the face and there should of been something done re the goalie at the end! Great performance from the lads, hoping nuges injury is just that it was tight as he's not played and also hoping matty's ok and makes a speedy recover shame for his season to end in that way

Schmeichel 8 - With his hands he was perfect, with his feet less so.

Wasilewski 7 - solid

Huth 9 - colossus

Morgan 7 - solid

Albrighton 8 - works his nuts off, great crossing as usual.

Cambiasso 7 - didnt use the ball as well as he has done in other games for us.

Schlupp 8 - Thought he was great today.

Mahrez 8 - first brace from open play for us this season.

Ulloa 8 - best 90 minutes he's had for us. Didn't score but held the ball up well, won his fair share of headers and worked his socks off.

Vardy 7.5 - crucial for us.

Subs:

Drinkwater 5 - rubbish for the most part - second to every ball in midfield, good last 15 minutes though.

Hammond 6 - solid enough

Nugent 3 - crap. Injured, but crap.

Gave Riyad and James 10's (don't care, Matty looks in big trouble, that's for the contribution since he's been here). Riyads work rate was exceptional today, showed how much he cared, and also added a lot of quality to that, yeah he lost the ball a few times but that's what happens when you are constantly looking to unlock defenses and when you do that more often than you don't you've played an incredible game. Mainly 7's and 8's elsewhere. All round a very good performance, we didn't have the ball a lot but we controlled the game without it, they didn't have a sniff. Game management was exceptional.

Kasper 8 - One good save and otherwise commanded his box brilliantly

Albrighton 8 - Bags of energy. He's made the RWB position his own.

Wasyl 7 - Love the yellow card he got. Took one for the team there.

Morgan 8 - Completely transformed player. Good decision making. No silly backpasses, just get rid of it if in doubt.

Huth 9 - What a guy! Won so many headers today, reads the game brilliantly. Big ****ing German! sign him up.

Schlupp 8 - Such confidence in his play now. Gave one of the league's best RBs plenty to think about. Solid defensively.

James N/A - Get well soon, guy!

Cambiasso 7 - Didn't think he was at his brilliant best today, but when he skipped past an opponent and won a corner was top stuff.

Drinkwater 7 - Looked solid all game. Slotted right in and did the job.

Mahrez 9 - MOTM. Sensational first half. First goal brilliant, second goal great anticipation. Put in a defensive shift too. Was knackered after 60 minutes.

Ulloa 8 - Brilliant from Leo today. Involved in both goal and worked tirelessly.

Vardy 7 - Not as good as recent weeks, but got himself another assist and still puts in 100% all the time. Still first name on the team sheet for me.

Game was sewn up when Nuge and Hammond came on, so difficult to rate them.

Pearson 10 - I love him. I feel so proud watching this team. He's installed a brilliant attitude in every player. Seeing someone like Albrighton, whose had a really tough season, bust a gut to get back and help the defence is just one example that pleases me so much when watching this team. It's a squad effort and everyone is doing their jobs.

Saints 6 - You can tell that they're good, but they can't be arsed anymore. Who can blame them? I wouldn't want to play Romanian Secret Police Force XI on a Thursday night either.

Huth - 9 - Absolute giant, what a defender

Morgan - 8 - Looks so much better alongside Huth, played really well

 

Albrighton - 7 - Put in a real shift but end product wasn't there

James - N/A

Cambiasso - 7 - Not his best game, but led us to victory and managed the game well, showed his class when he won that corner

Mahrez - 9 - MOTM, superb finish for the first, dribbling was sublime and won the game for us

Schlupp - 7 - Good game, really learning that wingback position

 

Vardy - 7 - Good shift as ever, should've scored

Ulloa - 7 - Worked hard without being involved too much, but good work for the goals

 

Drinkwater - 7 - Did a good job defensively

Hammond and Nugent - N/A - not on for that long and Nugent clearly wasn't fit

 

Pearson - 10 - Tactically spot on, what a job he's doing

Southampton - 6 - Good side but we neutralised their threat, especially of Pelle

Ref - 5 - Thought he was poor

Fans - 9 - Great atmosphere as always

Huth - 9 - joint MOTM with Mahrez, we'd be mid table if this guy had joined us at the start of the season.

Wes - 7.5 - looks so much more confident, right back to his best.

Wasyl - 8 - Rock solid again, looks at home in this division almost more than in the Championship, made a mockery of those who said he couldn't make the step up.

 

Albrighton - 7.5 - Doing everything right now, really impressed by his effort.

Mahrez - 8 - Put the game out of reach with two lovely finishes, guy behind me was calling him a twat and to pass when he scored the first

Cambiasso - 7.5 - Thought he gave the ball away a few times but some sublime stuff as ever.

James - N/A Drinkwater 7.5- Looking like the Drinkwater of old, comes into the side for the last two games.

Jeff - 7.5 - Really settling into the LWB role, this looks like the one that is going to suit him more than any, allows him to get forward and we can cover for him in defence.

 

Ulloa - 8 - Effort was top notch and linked up very well with everyone.

Vardy - 8 - Would be a 9 had he not missed an easy chance, standard performance giving everyone on the opposition near him a nightmare.
