ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Nige 10 & stay. Kasper 6 Was 8 Huth 10 - immense Wes 7 Albrighton 8 - bloody great getting back as well as forward, most of his balls in were a bit crap today I thought tho. Drinky 7 - tidy Cambiasso 8 - he covers so much ground and does everything right. Heroic. Schlupp 7 - okay first half, thought he did really well defensively second half cos he got no help once mahrez/vardy were knackered. thought he'd be vulnerable vs clyne but can't remember him getting beaten? Mahrez 9 - 12/10 first half and despite being done in after about an hour was still putting in tackles on wanyama in injury time. A big "f u" to everyone who said he didn't care, ran himself into the ground. Ulloa 8 - great workrate Vardy 7 Subs; na Saints 6 - tidy but not arsed. See Swansea. Ref 5.
foxfanazer Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Kasper 8- Made the correct decisions to either punch or catch Was- 7 solid, could've been in trouble for that elbow Wes- 8 seems so happy with Huth playing alongside him. Very good Huth- 9 won absolutely everything! The man is a beast. MOTM Albrighton- 8 Brilliant again today. Always seems to do the right thing and his delivery is 9/10 quality Schlupp- 7 lost but a couple of times but was very good again. Maturing defensively imo Cambiasso- 8 A few misplaced passes but he just brings the best out of everyone else and is so intelligent James- N/a hope his injury isn't too bad Riyad- 8 Amazing first goal and so tricky. A bit frustrating at times but he's class Ulloa- 8 Thought he was great today. Closed down well and deserved a goal Vardy- 7 Looked a little jaded today but still have his all and should've definitely scored Drinkwater- 8 Back to his best imo. Breaks up play and has a good eye for a pass Nuge- N/A Hammond- N/A Pearson- 10 stay! Soton- 6 Swansea mk2 Ref- 6
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 If Pearson's rating is under 99% then I will be surprised and disappointed.Kasper 8Wasyl 8Huth 9 Morgan 8 Albrighton 9 James N/A Canbiasso 8 Schlupp 8 Mahrez 8Ulloa 8Vardy 8 Drinkwater 8 Other two N/ANigel 10 Stay. Saints 6 Ref 8
Benguin Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Our first transfer news in the summer had better be we have signed Huth on a 3 year deal. Kasper, Esteban, Vardy - 8 Mahrez, Huth, Pearson - 9 The rest - 7 Southampton - 5+ Ref - 4+ - Thought he was a bit neglectful of several poor challenges from both sides, seemed to be happy with that diving little tw@ Sadio Mané
LCCFox96 Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 One of few performances this season where everyone on the pitch could justify a claim to at least a very high 7 or possibly an 8. Exceptional team performance today.
ADK Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Kasper 7 Schlupp 7 Morgan 6 Huth 9 Wasilevski 6 Albrighton 8 James 6 Cambiasso 7 Mahrez 9 Ulloa 6 Vardy 7 Drinkwater 6 Nugent 6 Hammond 6 Pearson 9 Saints 4 Ref 4
foxfanazer Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Kasper 7 Schlupp 7 Morgan 6 Huth 9 Wasilevski 6 Albrighton 8 James 6 Cambiasso 7 Mahrez 9 Ulloa 6 Vardy 7 Drinkwater 6 Nugent 6 Hammond 6 Pearson 9 Saints 4 Ref 4 Morgan, Drinkwater and Ulloa with the same rating as James?!
ADK Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Morgan, Drinkwater and Ulloa with the same rating as James?! Well that is over the minutes James was actually on the pitch.
iancognito Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Kasper - 8 - 3 decent saves from their only 3 shots that I can remember and claimed or punched everything he could reach Hoooth - 9 - Immense, Pelle was in his pocket all afternoon and the last time I saw a defender head and clear as many as that was Walshie in '96 Wes - 8 - Cleared, covered, headed, back to his best and looks so much more confident. Wasyl - 7 - Solid display, only caught out once when he got a yellow Albrighton - 8 - Really put in a shift, got back to help out, got forward well but needs someone to attack these crosses Mahrez - 8 - Defenders haven't figured out the cut inside and shoot thing and for once he got a reward Cambiasso - 8 - Sees everything 5 seconds ahead of it happening, just a joy to see him play James / Drinkwater - 7 - Not as advanced as he'd probably have liked but stuck at it and rarely did anything wrong Jeff - 8 - Much better display today, Clyne couldn't stop him and did well defensively Ulloa - 7 - Got kicked & battered with no help from the sub-standard ref Vardy - 7 - Looked like last week was hampering him but should have buried the chance in the first half. Their defenders were relieved when he was subbed.
Leicesterpool Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Huth man of the match with 9, he was just simply strong along with the other back two. Mahrez was great first half and probably was the man of the first half, but couldn't quite repeat it in the second period. On Southampton I gave them an Average-, for a team sitting seventh I would have expected better. They've got some decent players and probably comparing them to our other opponents recently, there probably looked the best minor Chelsea. I can imagine them on a good day them causing us a lot of problems.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Thought that was close to the best game Ulloa's had for us. He won headers, linked play (including in the buildup to both goals) and, most of all, his defensive workrate was astonishing. Vardy seemed off it all game - think his injury niggles finally caught up with him - and Ulloa stepped up to do some of his work. Superb.
Corky Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Schmeichel- 7 Was- 7 Huth- 9 Wes- 8 Albrighton- 8 James- N/A Cambiasso- 7 Schlupp- 7 Mahrez- 8 Vardy- 7 Ulloa- 7 Subs- Drinkwater- 7 Nugent- 5 Hammond- 5
MGLCFC Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Schmeichel- 7 Was- 7 Huth- 9 Wes- 8 Albrighton- 8 James- N/A Cambiasso- 7 Schlupp- 7 Mahrez- 8 Vardy- 7 Ulloa- 7 Subs- Drinkwater- 7 Nugent- 5 Hammond- 5 Cambiasso 6? The bloke just runs the game and his organisational abilities are exceptional. He doesn't really need to perform as he orchestrates everything.
Corky Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Cambiasso 6? The bloke just runs the game and his organisational abilities are exceptional. He doesn't really need to perform as he orchestrates everything. I meant to put 7 first time, was an error
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 I meant to put 7 first time, was an error Christ. We've even got people questioning someone's post match score for a player, THEN the poster apologising.... Does it get worse? Huth 9, Mahrez 8, Morgan 8, everyone else 7 or 6. Today, Cambiasso 6.
Clever Fox Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 I the spine of the team were superb today. I thought Ulloa was brilliant up top not allowing defenders anytime on the Ball and man of the match for me. Huth was solid as a rock at the back although he got away with a penalty which could have given them a lift. Kasper was superb in goal and I thought it was his best game of the season. A top Goal keeper if he can keep it up.
Corky Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Christ. We've even got people questioning someone's post match score for a player, THEN the poster apologising.... Does it get worse? Huth 9, Mahrez 8, Morgan 8, everyone else 7 or 6. Today, Cambiasso 6. What? I meant to put seven and typed six incorrectly. His post was based on my rating which wasn't the right one so I cleared it up.
Clever Fox Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Funny I Thought Cambi had one of his poorer games today. While he did cover a lot of ground his passing was less assured than usual.Having said that he was very much alone in the middle and still managed to get forward.

I only saw the second half but he looked tired, not at all surprisingly!
ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Genuinely don't think I've ever said a bad word about big Wes. I love him and have done since about a month after he signed. I called out Schlupp for being shit and have since admitted he has got massive plus points hence his place in the team. I thoroughly enjoy everything good he does. Maybe you just don't understand football very well but cambiasso is a sensation. Everyone bar you can see that. Yet it's everyone who is wrong? Hmm.
Clever Fox Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 I only saw the second half but he looked tired, not at all surprisingly!Yes that's what I thought he looked a little tired. But let's face it he's been immense for weeks so he's earned himself a little breather. A wordy player of the year.
NewquayFox Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 8s all ound from me, Ulloa mom for his grafting today, only downside was Matty James injury and Nuge coming on (injured again) ahead of Kramaric.... Up the City.....
