Got a couple hours of sleep in but wasn't easy after that. I felt like I aged 10 years during that 2nd half. Great subs from Tuchel and quality to see Gordon finally deliver the goods. When he's on form, he's a much better player than Rashford imo. Mexico weren't all that. Adrenaline took them far, but Bellingham's two goals showed the difference in class, and while the last 20-30 minutes were stressful, they hardly created anything. It was like defence drills for the lads at the back. Looking forward to Norway!

This is gonna be Paraguay-esque. Ref had a poor start too

The More I Watch This WC The More I Hate Football

I thought I'd not care for it but I'm absolutely loving it. All the brilliant scenes from Mexico, Paraguay, Norway. All the fans seemingly having the time of their lives. Scotland in Boston, the Dutch with all the Links Rechts stuff. For me, international tournament football is peak football. And then in between all the memes and good vibes you come across tweets from Romano and that lot.. Spurs paying 85 million for Fernandes, Man City paying 115 million for Anderson. Makes me realise how little I miss club football. -
100% a ripoff but still a good thing they’ve got going on. In general they’ve done a hell of a job branding themselves to the world as proper vikings with the pre-tournament photo and all this rowing stuff. All the while we’ve got a horrendous manager with balenciaga trainers
-
Even as a Dane I find myself rooting for Norway. Some might find the rowing gimmick super cringe but I think it’s great. Fancy them against Brazil!

Got a very close pal going through this right now. Relapsed after 8 years. At the moment, he's very vulnerable, ashamed and fearful that he will lose his family because of it. I'm hoping his perspectives broaden with time and stops hating on himself. He's a fantastic guy, an inspirational dad, but he's had a tough spring and, like many others, he's plagued by a horrid disease. I'm talking with him daily, so happy to take any words of wisdom or encouragement from anyone who has been through this. Massive thanks to @Ric Flair for the message exchange on Twitter. -
Yeah that’s gotta be next up. Maybe saving it for the September direct? Switch 2 prices go up and the crazy bastards justify it by announcing the next odyssey? All hopium here. Excited about OoT. Can’t wait to see more of it
-
Nintendo presentation this afternoon. Could we see the heavily rumoured ocarina of time remake? Hopefully we see something related to Zelda’s 40th anniversary. Surely has to be time for the next 3D Mario as well. Almost 9 years since Odyssey came out.

Really pleases me that that dickhead Harwood Bellis misses out

Correct decision or not, it's a goal that pretty much sums up everything I dislike about top-tier English football at the moment. Almost every single player crowding the box, everyone's pushing and shoving and it's followed by a contentious decision that takes 6 minutes to reach. And that's not even the end of it. Then you get experts, pundits, everyone and anyone on X zooming in on still images, finding all sorts of slo-mo angles, pixelated clips, and other clips to show the inconsistency not only this season but also going back to previous seasons. And it's the same week after week. It does my head in. I know football has always been a physical sport, but for me, it's reached a point where the physical grappling followed by the micro analysis of every tiny detail has become a bigger talking point than the actual high-quality football. It's why the first leg of PSG-Bayern was so refreshing to watch. I really miss watching players like Fabregas, Silva, De Bruyne, Hazard etc. lighting up the PL.

In Denmark, my hometown club Aarhus GF are on the way to their first title in 40 years. Just need one win in the last two games and currently leading 2-0 away at Steve Cooper’s Brøndby.

Interesting draft lottery from a Sharks perspective! Excited to see who they'll go for
-
Wasn’t it the Grealish one that did his ACL that really did Ricky in? I think the challenge you’re referring to happened after that. And you’re right, Morton didn’t get a red.

God look at that Arsenal lineup. What an uninspiring front three. It’s like that meme of the three dragons. From Kvara, Dembele, Doue and Diaz, Kane, Olise… to the table-topping Premier League side turning up with Martinelli, Gyokeres and Madueke.
-
This is by a distance the best match I’ve watched this season. No towels, no long throws, no 22 idiots in the box pushing and shoving. Just so refreshing to see compared to the premier league, and a completely different sport than LCFC

Bruins getting absolutely battered

Given the catastrophic run of events, I guess you could argue that these first successful years under Top mostly happened because the foundations for a successful business were more or less set by all the good people we had at the club. Regarding Maresca, I think they got lucky. And even then, we almost managed to balls it up with the most expensive squad ever.

@Libertine perhaps you could work your magic on another Winks-182 classic “Down”? -
Still can’t get over that sub. We never thought Praet ON Iheanacho OFF would be topped but I think it just might have

That’s on Rowett for killing the momentum! Take off the best player and the only one everyone likes and replace him with public enemy no.1. Absolute madness

Luke Thomas is so shit -
Really unlucky for PD20 there. Brilliant touch to set up the shot

That second wildcard spot in the western is gonna go down to the wire! Great win for the Sharks with Celebrini reaching 100 points

More drivers bashing the regs and you’ve got F1 posting the onboard of the pole lap on socials and it suddenly cuts to an offboard before 130R 😂 Flagged by users on Twitter and followed up with a lie from F1 about technical issues with the camera despite the full onboard being available on F1TV. Maybe it’ll die down but i can’t remember any new changes ever being as hated as these
