I'd understand if he was a young guy starting to come through but he's 29. I don't know, it just makes little sense to me. On a separate note, is this Gourcuff talk because we've been linked somewhere or just because we'd want him? No link whatsoever, I literally just said that while we're suggesting unrealistic signings, he'd be worth considering as he's available on a free this summer. Apologies if it confused some.

Pearson likes to play his cards close to his chest. If it sounds like we will do anything to get Huth in, Stoke will want a few million more. Huth will be stating the first game next season for us.
