Soar Fox Posted 6 June 2015 Posted 6 June 2015 Are you sure she goes for the coffee? What you trying to say Ken? You think DT wife is having an affair with someone who works there?
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 6 June 2015 Posted 6 June 2015 If I liked coffee, I'd probably enjoy them. A nice selection of hot beverages to enjoy during a trip around town, and good sources of free Wi-fi and occasionally, a charging point, spend some time there, watching the world go by. As it happens, I only like tea, so the only way to get that is to massively overpay, so I often find myself in McDonalds with my 99p cuppa, surrounded by some screeching kids and loud teenagers. Life isn't fair sometimes.
lavrentis Posted 6 June 2015 Posted 6 June 2015 Can't stand 'em. Such prententious places. They've completely ruined the character of Harborough town centre (and I dareay other town centres) as well. Nowt against coffee drinkers per se, but give me a good cup of tea any day of the week. Harborough Town ruined by Starbucks ?????
Ian W LCFC Posted 8 June 2015 Posted 8 June 2015 Nothing wrong with the occasional caramel latte cooler.
ozleicester Posted 9 June 2015 Posted 9 June 2015 Got a lot of time for small independant coffee shops. Got none for your costas, starbucks etc. The well-known coffee shop brands normally just 'dunk' ingredients in etc, without being professionally caring (especially when it's busy etc). Small, independent shops servers are like someone in their own kitchen; put in the right level of certain ingredient that the person wants.
