nnfox Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 I can't believe some of the comments in here! It's the start of a Premier League season. We are Leicester. How can anyone be less than pumped for the new season. We have a 10 year absence, one absolute rollercoaster of a season and fans are already like "meh". Jeez. Yeah we lost Cambiasso and yes Pearson has gone too, but we have go some exciting new players coming in (Okazaki and Kante). I'm optimistic that Kramaric will do well and we've still got Huth steadying the defence, Albrighton pinging the crosses in, Vardy and Schlupp ripping into defences, Mahrez with his tricks and King with his many faces. I firmly believe 41pts last season was an acceptable return. I would have liked to have seen them spread out more evenly over the season. This season, Ranieri comes in a bit more tactically savvy. I see no reason why we can't get 42 points this time around which I would take right now. We'll have moments of brilliance and we'll be shocking at times too. It'll be fun.
weller54 Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Just need to continue with where we left off last season.. Keep that momentum and fire in our bellies going!.. Cambiasso is a huge loss, we know that, but in Kante we have a player who has energy and can break up opponents attacks (something we were desperately missing)... Okazaki and Vardy together will be interesting and they will terrorise defences!.. In Ranieri we have an experienced manager, well respected and Mature.. We won't have the embarrassing, childish outbursts we had from Pearson last season that made our club a laughing stock at times.. Things look bright for the season ahead.. Come on The Foxes!!!
bovril Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 Seriously what else is there to do on a Saturday? Although 8th of August is too early really. Looking forward to today, first game I've managed to get to since January. Shame about what happened over the summer but so far Ranieri has conducted himself well and we have an exciting squad. Bring on the Sunderland....
