Hitesh Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 Hmm that would be too easy. Anyway, that's not always an option... I just feel like a Matt-style moan about the current discrimination against small-wristed people!!!! Its always an option. If something doesnt fit then surely, you dont buy it!
Katy Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 Tis not the point though, I think what Cisono is saying is that there SHOULD be differing levels of wristband width in order for everyone to wear and enjoy the comfort of a wristband that fits.

Ok, on that point then, how would they size them? Because there are loads of different size wrists and it would be hard to manaufacture different sizes PLUS keep costs down. And if they did have different sizes, you would probably see the price up, then bringing up a whole new discussion about the club ripping fans off etc, when in fact they are giving them choice. but i see you point Cisono, however, as someone said, its business and they are just trying to make a bit of money the easiest way possible!

Obviously most of the time it would be a logisical nightmare and if you made them smaller you would have the 'big wristed' people moaning and as you say Hitesh it would be hard to do etc. To be fair to the actual band, I have very small wrists and its not too bad, it kind of falls down to about my thumb knuckle so im trying to use my watch to kind of 'peg it back'
SystonFox Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 they have them in the ticket office at each till point. i didnt get one as they look HUGE! and i t hink it may fall off my wrist . i did get my season ticket though 217 quid to sit in f1 row kk seat 211.
syston_fox Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 I got mine in the post today and they're no bigger than the adult size of the other wristbands!
Wellman Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 I got mine in the post today and they're no bigger than the adult size of the other wristbands! do they do them in kiddies sizes?
Katy Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 do they do them in kiddies sizes? Read the whole thread Wellers

I ordered that in the small size and it fits perfectly! :-) If I remember well, they had at least two sizes, small and medium... Does that sound about right, Hitesh? PS Katassi: yes, I could wear it like that too. It just looks a bit silly if you have a tighter fitting one on already, though. Or I'd have to wear it on my other wrist...
Matt Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 Sound about right for my wrist then because my Livestrong band (And for the record I only wear the LiveStrong band for the proper reason not fashion) isn't tight but no way is it loose, My Arms and wrist are quite big (Muscles ) so the bands sound like they might fit me quite well, however I don't think i'll bother buying one, necause i'm thinking as it has been pointed out the club will be making a small profit when there saying money will go to charity (Why not all of it) and many people will just be wearing these for fashion (I think) so can't really be arsed with it.
Wellman Posted 8 September 2005 Posted 8 September 2005 Read the whole thread Wellers Can't be bothered Katy Just say yes or no
cisono Posted 9 September 2005 Posted 9 September 2005 If you buy it from the shop (not online), do you get to try it on before deciding whether you actually want it?
Katy Posted 9 September 2005 Posted 9 September 2005 If you buy it from the shop (not online), do you get to try it on before deciding whether you actually want it? They are sealed in a package but im sure if you asked them for a demo they would oblige, at the end of the day though its £1.50, a third of it goes to charity and you are supporting your club. Like ive said before I have very slim wrists and its reasonably fine on me and not hanging off as my watch keeps it back. Over to you Cisono

rossporterlc Posted 9 September 2005 Author Posted 9 September 2005 i have pathetic sized wrists, basically there is nothing there, adult wristbands are still ok, as long as you don't have really small hands
cisono Posted 9 September 2005 Posted 9 September 2005 i have pathetic sized wrists, basically there is nothing there, adult wristbands are still ok, as long as you don't have really small hands so it's not really the wrists that are a problem but the combination of small wrists and hands!?!?!
rossporterlc Posted 9 September 2005 Author Posted 9 September 2005 so it's not really the wrists that are a problem but the combination of small wrists and hands!?!?! that is indeed correct
cisono Posted 9 September 2005 Posted 9 September 2005 that is indeed correct I will try to build up my hands then!
andy_croydz Posted 11 September 2005 Posted 11 September 2005 I brought one of the wristbands yesterday and i love it i think it looks really good to be fair
cisono Posted 11 September 2005 Posted 11 September 2005 I brought one of the wristbands yesterday and i love it i think it looks really good to be fair I saw them yesterday but - in all the commotion of trying to get to my seat in time - I decided to face this decision some other time... glad you are enjoying your wristband
EmLeee Posted 11 September 2005 Posted 11 September 2005 I got mine - I think it's well good My cousin got one too - he thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread...
cisono Posted 11 September 2005 Posted 11 September 2005 I got mine - I think it's well good My cousin got one too - he thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread... what about your aunt?
cisono Posted 15 September 2005 Posted 15 September 2005 On the subject of whether the players themselves will be wearing the LCFC wristband... Maybury was not wearing it at Cardiff... As seen clearly in this picture, he seems to wear a yellow one instead...
