Schwarzer 6

Fuchs 6

Benny 6

Wasyl 6

Moore 6 - enjoyed seeing him link with dodoo

Kante 8 - better than everyone else on the pitch

Hammond 5

Inler 5 - between him and hammond we gave the ball away a pathetic amount of times

Dodoo 8 - 3 tidy goals (first was sensational) and looked a threat every time he got the ball

Kram 7 - nice goal and a few nice touches

Ulloa 6 - got roughed up a bit but 3 assists and never stopped going

Enjoyed Jeff's cameo too. Proper Jeff. The first thing he did when he came on was skin about 5 men, run about 60 yards and then massively overhit a simple sidefoot pass to Dodoo. Wouldn't expect any less from Jefurri.

Schwarzer - 6 - Didn't have much to do.

Moore - 6 - Involved in some good attacking play do the right flank and solid defensively.

Benalouane - 6 - Solid, bullied their strikers and looked pretty sound defensively.

Wasilewski - 6 - See Benalouane.

Fuchs - 6 - See Moore.

Kante - 9 - Everywhere. Made some good runs forward, started attacks, won the ball back a lot and retained possesion well.

Hammond - 5 - Very average and lost the ball a lot.

Inler - 5 - For the same as Hammond, a disappointing performance.

Dodoo - 9 - Stepped up well. Really impressed. Pacey skillful and used the ball well. Debut marked with a brilliantly taken hattrick.

Kramaric - 7 - Nice finish and played well while on the pitch. Look a threat and in and around their area.

Ulloa - 7 - Won a lot of headers in the air, nice flick ons and brought the wide players and secondary strikers into play well. Instrumental in the team work for all goals.

Schlupp - 7 - 6 for bringing something to the game when he came on. Gets a 7 for unselfishly squaring up for Dodoo's hattrick. Go on then Jeff!

Claudio - 7 - Set the team up well using players who hadn't played much this season. Looked solid throughout. Credit for starting Dodoo as well and putting faith in an academy product.

Inler that bad? Missed the whole match while playing football.

Not totally bad, but rather disappointing. He gave the ball away far too much for a player of his pedigree in the middle of the park. He shouldn't have been put under that much pressure by Bury's team. He did look better going forward than defensively though and still did his bit.

Perhaps he was trying too hard?

Perhaps he was trying too hard?

Probably. Rough for him to start in awful conditions away at Bury with a mere week in England and 15-20 mins English football under his belt. Like I said, some good contributions in attack but did lose the ball a lot which was a frustration, especially at 2-1. Not the only one, Hammond was probably worse.

But in the big picture it doesn't really matter as we routed them 4-1 fairly comfortably in the end. See it more as a rough 90 mins English football experience rather than a bad game. Better that in the cup than the league.

How can a footballer "try too hard" - never got that cliché.

Schwarzer - 6 - didnt have much to do

Moore - 6 - steady enough

Was - 6 - decent

Benny - 6 - got mullered by the ref who pulled him up every time he touched someone and failed to do the same when their striker was all over him

Fuchs - 5 - set pieces were dreadful

Doodoo - 7 - great for him to get 3 goals but looked like he lacked the confidence to beat his man a lot

Inler - 4 - four may be generous, looked very poor and one dimensional. Every time he got the ball he just pinged it 50 yards away when the game was crying out for him to be running with it and playing through the middle. I hope he adapts his play to us because he looked like Gerrard in his twilight years with his complete dependence on long balls.

Hammond - 4 - completely insignificant

Kante - 7 - great energy and our best player

Ulloa - 4 - didn't seize the opportunity to put pressure on vardy and okazaki, lost a lot of aerial balls and should have finished one of his chances

Kram - 5 - largely anonymous aside from the goal.

Opposition: 2 - Bury were dire in the first half and we went 2 up at a canter. Second half they improved but still never looked like getting anything

Ref: 4 - poor from the ref and both linesman, no consistency with what they did and didn't blow up for.

Funny how stringer said Inler and Ulloa played well and Hammond especially was good. Seems like most people disagree. That's Stringer for you though

Schwarzer - Thought he had a good game. Not a lot he could do for the goal. Won a lot in the air. 7

Moore - Not great, not bad either. 6

Benalouane - Thought he had a good game personally. Not seeing what the others who are calling him a car crash are. 7

Wasilewski - Was it him who went walkabouts for their goal? Other than that not bad. 6

Fuchs - I've been quite disappointed by him so far in all honesty. 5

Dodoo - Didn't think his all-round game was great but a hat-trick is impossible to rate below a nine. Took all three of them very well. 9

Inler - I thought he was awful. Gave the ball away constantly. I'll let that one go and say it was a lesson in adapting to the English game because I think he was trying the right things, it was amazing how many times his passes were intercepted. Maybe that just doesn't happen so much in Italy. 3

Hammond - Not a lot better than Inler. Also guilty of surrendering possession on a number of occasions. 5

Kante - My MOTM despite Dodoo's hat-trick. He was everywhere, unreal energy levels, skilful, tenacious, all-round good game from him. 9

Ulloa - Did he really get three assists? Thought he looked off the pace personally. 5

Kramaric - Quiet, but a very nice goal. I can't quite put my finger on him. 6

Officials - Thought they were generally OK but the linesman lost them a couple of points. Clown. 5

Bury - As I expected. Pretty weak all round. Not hard to see why they've got the shoddiest defence in League One. 3

MS 6 - doesn't inspire any confidence but caught the ball well throughout.

LM 6 - solid first half, caught in mix up for their goal, struggled after.

MW 6 - struggled to drum up a partnership with YB and fvck knows what he was doing with the goal.

YB 6 - actually did a lot really, really well but is just so rash, gave away a lot of FKs.

CF 6 - got forward a fair bit but crossing was ultimately a disappointment overall

DH 6 - did ok. Must have been a challenge conducting a team that have known each other for a week.

GI 5 - hardly touched ball second half. Misplaced a lot of passes. Obviously got the quality though so I'm not worried about a bit of rustiness at this stage.

NGK 9 - sensational. Won so much ball, never stopped running and looked our most dangerous player from the left hand side. Can't wait to see more of this lad

JD 9 - about as good as you can possibility get from a lad his age. Only didn't get 10 cos he was quiet first half despite the goal. Second half unplayable and gave everything he had. One moment where Jeff gave him a horror ball you could see the anguish on his face as he chased it down but still had the ability and nous to win a corner. Finishing was incredible and that first, Jesus fvck.

LU 6 - marked up a point for the three assists. His general play was really disappointing.

AK 7 - marked up a point for goal. He's a lovely player and IMO our best finisher but struggles out wide.

JS 8 - changed the game back in our favour with direct running. Lovely idea to give JD a hatty, fair play.
