Berlinfox Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 I live in Germany and follow our games through the commentary on the club website. This has always been the BBC Radio Leicester commentary with the much maligned Ian Stringer. I had to work today and couldn't log in to the Foxes Player until the middle of the second half. This wasn't the BBC commentary; it was an unfamiliar commentator and Matty James was the summariser. Have the club started providing their own commentary? I hadn't heard anything about a change.
Jakemoore Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 It was news to me when I logged in today. I think I Player can obviously pick their own commentators and are probably making enough money to go independently now?
The Doctor Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 If this is a permanent thing, then I'm resubscribing to player. What was James like as a summariser?
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Yes, this is a permanent thing. There will be three (I think) commentators sharing the workload across the rest of the season with a variety of summarisers used. I hear there might be a familiar commentary voice (certainly for older supporters) at Hull on Tuesday

ElusiveEd Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 LCFC are looking at providing the commentary "In house" as it were. Yesterday was just a trial apparently and are looking at not using the "Foxes Player" format which I believe is presented and provided by a third party to a good number of clubs using the individual clubs names etc. Guess they have seen a way of doing it themselves instead of a third party making £ out of it?
AmyLGK Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Oh! I like listening to what Matt Elliott has to say
klrice Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 I feel the radio Leicester Commentaries are better than the currant format on Fox Player hd,.commentaries which lack passion. Why change?
Lestoh Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 "Good relations between us and the club" Jason, buddy, the players still won't talk to you
