Ranieri -6- If Mahrez was 'tired' and Vardy had a virus, it was crazy to pick them and put too much pressure on us. Subs were made much too late.

Kasper -6- No chance with goal. Thought he played quite well and made a few decent blocks.

Simpson -6- Played OK.

Morgan -6- Caught out a few times, but a brilliant one man block near the end.

Huth -6- Solid, but like Wes, caught out a few times.

Fuchs -7- Best defender today, and some lovely crosses.

Mahrez -6- Looked tired, but still produced a few moments of magic.

King -5- Drifted in and out of the game far too much. We really miss Drinky. Did not boss the midfield at all.

Kante -8- Tried so hard to get the side going. MOTM for me.

Albrighton -6- Tried hard, but not at his best today.

Okazaki -5- Poor. Much too lightweight. Pushed off the ball too easily and just keeps falling over. Defenders dominate him.

Vardy -6- Off the pace today. Should not have played if he had a virus.

Subs:

Dyer -6-Really tried to inject some passion towards the end.

Ulloa -6- In my opinion, he should always start ahead of Ozakaki. He needs a run of games to get some sharpness.

Kramaric -5- Not really on long enough to show what he might be about. Has obvious skill, but no confidence.

Officials -5- The usual strange decisions, which mainly favoured Liverpool.

Liverpool -6- Thought they set out to stop us and they did it well, although we just didn't show our usual passion for a fight.

From the away end:

Schmeichel  -  4   Didn't make any horrendous blunders, it's just his kicking was so poor. Basically just spent the match giving possession straight back to them.

Simpson  -  6  Fairly steady performance.

Morgan  -  7  Actually thought he played quite well, despite the defeat.

Huth  -  6  Not his best performance, but I think some of the criticism levelled at him in other threads is a bit OTT.

Fuchs  -  5  His worst performance so far in an otherwise impressive season. Looked really exposed, and responsible for some shocking set pieces.

Mahrez  - 5  A shot in the first half, but other than that was just not in it at all really. They completely marked him out of the game.

Kante  -  8  Our best player by a country mile and pretty much the only one to come out of it with any credit.

King  -  3  Could barely tell he was on the pitch. Barely tried to tackle and by the end was not even jumping for headers.

Albrighton  -  5  A poor performance really. I'd like to see Dyer come in for him and give him a rest.

Okazaki - 4  Still trying to understand why we bought this guy.

Vardy  -  5  Not at the races at all, but to be fair was clearly not fit (and as it transpired, also ill)

Ranieri   5  - It was clear things weren't working in the first half. We should have made changes much, much earlier than we did.
