Vichai is a very wise and clever man.  It was a bold statement of intent at the time and one, that I for sure felt was unachievable.

To be fair, we've barely needed to "spend the money" he was talking about and as much as I think they are good owners, they've not had to dig much out to get here in playing terms.

Oh yeah don't get me wrong, they've been prudent and sensible. But that article made it sound like we'd be the next man City and win or lose the title that clearly hasn't been the case.
