Shelf Side Spurs Posted 27 April 2016 Posted 27 April 2016 Spurs would be hilarious It really wouldn't.....honestly, and equally honestly we're not all 'vile'.....we have our fair share of blinkered moron's as do most clubs and a large number of keyboard warriors, hiding behind anonymity in their bedrooms, but there are literally thousands of us who are very reasonable indeed and can appreciated others success (other than Arsenal and Chelsea of course....). My vote goes to Arsenal.
katieakita Posted 27 April 2016 Posted 27 April 2016 Spurs would be funny but they really should be looking more at their North London neighbours, they play some lovely football and have a really good young squad with so much potential mind you not impressed with the timing of their managers comments about PSG today so lets hope it is Arsenal and their lap of honour which was the turning point for us.

SpursInPeace Posted 27 April 2016 Posted 27 April 2016 Either Spurs or Arsenal, both have shown this season, what vile delusional teams they are. Both have very good teams, both have vile fans. It seems that every club has a section of vile fans. Leicester are not exempt from that either having read some of the stuff on here. My vote goes to United purely for the hilarity of Jose/Van Gaal nonsense that would would ensue.
BoyJones Posted 27 April 2016 Posted 27 April 2016 Can't really see either English side winning, but if they do good luck to them. Like many people, would like to see Arsenal miss out, which I think would help them in the long run. They seem to have accepted for too long that top four is good enough and seem to switch off in too many games. Swansea at home springs to mind, they seem to subconsciously assume that they will win these sort of games when they go 1-0 up. Happens too many times, they need to toughen up. Always thought that Wenger was too nice for too long. Worked in the beginning, but not any more, I wonder how many of his players really respect him.
The whole world smiles Posted 27 April 2016 Posted 27 April 2016 The scenario exists whereby if Liverpool win the Europa League and Man City win the Champions League but finish outside the top four, the team which finishes fourth in the Premier League will not enter the qualification round for the Champions League but will enter the Europa League instead, because no country is allowed to have more than 5 teams playing in the CL in one season. So the team who finish 4th in this scenario will be one of Spurs, Arsenal or Man Utd. It doesn't affect us because we can't finish lower than 2nd now. If it comes to pass, who would you rather see playing Thursday night away games in Turkmenistan, landing on dusty airstrips lit by braziers in a plane whose pilot has consumed a couple of bottles of vodka during the flight and is attempting to land with a unfiltered cigarette protruding from his lips and whose personal hygiene leaves something to be desired? I still can't get my head around the fact there is a thread on foxes talk with Leicester already qualified with people discussing who out of United, City, Spurs and Arsenal we want to miss out on Champions league. utter madness.
